This was our second year there with a family group. When we met as a family during our stay, we discussed whether to return or try something different next year. We looked at several options, and everyone has had such a good time here, they want to return. We started planning next year’s stay before we left there.
Our family loved the stay! The large lawn provided a place to play baseball and other outdoor games. The pond was as hit with the kids! We floated the Lazy River just a few miles down the road. We blue toothed a family video on their big screen tv. Our host responded to our request immediately. We were short on eggs one morning and drove a mile to a local farm who had self serve eggs. Over all great experience! Kelly Esplin Family
We have had two family reunions here, it’s perfect! So much space, inside and out. The pond is the best part, our kids bring kayaks and paddle boards and swim all daylong. Hope to be back in two years.
It was nice that each bedroom has its own bathroom. There is a huge open area to gather and play games and visit. The pond and the large outside grass areas were also very fun.
We enjoyed everything about our time in this house. The pool table, ping pong table and foosball kept the energy high and we loved sitting outside at night and looking at the stars.
It was great to have a large place for everyone. The property was nice and secluded. The kids loved playing on the pond. We would definitely consider coming back.
Teri is a great host A! This is an amazing place. We had 33 people there and it fit us perfectly. It is not far off I-70, yet it is quiet with beautiful views. The kids had a great time on the pond and the adults played pool for many hours. The kitchen was setup well and we had plenty of fridge and freezer space for the group. I would definitely come here again. In fact we are looking at booking next year as well.
We spent three nights with 37 family members. Everyone from senior citizens to a toddler had a great time. The pool table, ping pong table and foosball table were always in use. The pond was a popular spot. The kitchen is great for taking care of a group. We plan on making this a regular event.
Teri was wonderful to plan with. We reserved the lodge for our family to gather for my Father’s celebration of life. It was perfect, when we arrived Teri had prepared a wonderful welcome basket full of games, treats, soaps and a lovely card. The lodge itself was filled with activities to keep everyone busy with plenty of space, There was a large kitchen, fireplace, towels and bedding.. I’m glad we chose this spot!
We loved the spacious gathering area and the large kitchen. It was so nice that everyone (30) had a place to sit and eat in the main area. The pond was so fun and all the grass and well kept lawn allowed us to play volleyball, cross net, spike ball and so many other fun games we brought. This is a great spot for large family reunions! The hostess was SO HELPFUL and her communication made us feel so welcome and excited about our trip.
What a blast! Pheasant Run is the perfect place to spend the weekend with friends and family for the annular eclipse. We enjoyed star gazing on the upper deck, loved the games, walked along the paths and It was so wonderfully quiet. The lodge has such a great rustic cabin vibe and lots of rooms for a huge group. The spacious gathering places made everyone feel a part of the group. We loved our stay!!
This is an amazing gem in a quiet area...perfect for a family reunion. First, Teri is responsive and an amazing host. She was quick to answer questions and help us prepare for our stay. I provided some feedback to her on a few items and she addressed everything we needed. The lodge is massive! It is so much bigger than the pictures depict. That's why I created a floorplan to help others see how awesome this place is for large groups. The 10 bedrooms are each really large (probably over 300 square feet each). Each bedroom has a small 5' x 5' bathroom with tub/shower and toilet. Each has a sink outside the bathroom. Two of the rooms on each floor have connecting doors. On the lower floor, you enter four of the rooms from the outside and separate keys are provided. The fifth one on the main floor has an external door which is blocked by furniture. On the upper floor, you have to go through room #9 to get to room #10 or you would need to go outside on the deck and then back into room #10. The upstairs rooms have key locks but no keys readily available that can open them if they get locked by children or by accident. Around midnight, our daughter went to bed and found her room was locked by one of her children. Teri was texting me back and forth with ideas to try to solve the issue. Luckily, we had a library card that was able to open the door. It would be nice to have keys to all the doors or make those locks the kind that are easily opened with a generic key. The pond was fun!!
This property offers a huge footprint yet draws your entire group together for what is really important. Every room with a good bathroom attached. great conversation kitchen, little nooks for games and talks. TV and internet...
What a fabulous find in the Heart of Utah. The Managers and owner were great to work with...Entire trip exceeded my expectation.
Great place to stay and gather. The great room goes from the kitchen to the living room with the dining room and pool table room and another dining room in between. The adjoining ping-pong Foosball room made for fun and togetherness for all Teri was very easy to work with and was quick to respond to any questions. The room chart doesn't do the place justice. We were pleasantly surprised how accommodating the rooms are for everything. Our group brought our own lifejackets and tubes so we could enjoy the lazy river for free but there is outfitters there that also provide whitewater rafting which some of us paid for as well. The whole trip was so much fun!
It was our third time to stay in this cabin and that speaks volume of why we keep coming back to this place. The place is clean, well kept and maintained. Teri our contact person and her house manager was just simply amazing that went above and beyond in assisting us in our needs, quick to respond to our inquiries and very helpful and accommodating. Superb customer service and great place to stay. Thanks again Teri and crew.
We had about 30 people stay at this lodge comfortably. There was room to all be together. But also privacy for everyone when they wanted to escape. The pond was great for kayaking with the kids. The yard had plenty of room for badminton and other games. There was plenty of parking. We are all ready talking about coming back
The lodge was a lot of fun and very large. We enjoyed the open spaces. Pool table, Ping Pong table, chess and other activities inside. Outside we played in the big pond and road off road vehicles right from the property. The property owner was very quick to answer any issues we had. The view from the back of the house was amazing. We didn’t realize that 4 of the bedrooms had outside entrances so we were surprised at that. The only complaint we had was the cleanliness. 3 of the beds had dirty sheets and the tile floor was really dirty. We would definitely stay here again.
We’ve stayed here several years now for our large family reunion. It’s a wonderful place to stay. The kids and teens love the pond and boat in the back. The big yard was great for outdoor games. They have new ping pong table which for our family was terrific because we are table tennis fiends. I would give five stars but there were a few items that just made it hard to give it a 5 star rating: the swamp cooler had a few issues cooling well, the dishwasher wasn’t working, and a toilet in one room was not working well. They did come and fix things quickly and Teri was excellent at communicating. We’d be happy to stay there again as we love it there.
Our large family really enjoyed staying here for our reunion. Kids and adults said it was a great place. The pond was fun for the kids on paddle boards and in the fishing boat that was already there (bring your own lifejackets and paddles). We enjoyed ping-pong, pool, corn hole. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious, and we had lots of seating with nice tables inside and out. The lawn was nice for games. The view out the back is great, with the pond looking out on hills and mountains. AC in each bedroom is very nice.
It is hard to find a location to comfortably accommodate a family with 38 people. This lodge was amazing!! Everyone was very happy about the personal bathrooms, and space in each room. Teri was incredible and answered all of our questions quickly and gave great recommendations for local activities. Our family especially loved the lazy river float! We had fun playing in the pond and foosball, pool, ping pong, and darts were a huge hit! The kitchen was large and well equipped. If you are looking for a great place to gather with a large family this is an excellent location!!
First, we were so grateful to Teri who assisted us to all our inquiries. She responded promptly, even went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The place was spectacular, we loved the rusty feel and the beautiful landscape surrounding it. This place exceeded our expectations. Very clean and we loved how each bedrooms have their own bathrooms, and the game area is just in one floor that we can easily checked on our kids and see what they’re doing. Such an amazing place and a great host. Thanks again Teri!
