Our "Big Blue" home is perfect for large groups! This house has 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and a large basement open for groups of 6+ guests. This house is a five-minute walk to Short North Pint House, Jeni’s Ice Cream, and many other popular spots!

Please note that there is also a studio apartment on this property, above the separate garage.

The Short North Arts District is one of the Midwest’s best kept secrets. There is a huge variety of unique shops, bars and restaurants, and art galleries along High Street and a number of annual events that take place year-round. We have a thorough list of recommendations in the house to local bakeries, cafes, and restaurants.

You will have access to the entire home, 1st floor of 2-car garage, and fenced backyard patio. The backyard and laundry inside of the garage is shared with the carriage house apartment.


This home is a great place to gather. When you walk into the house, you will be welcomed by an open kitchen, dining, and living room area. There is plenty of seating between the couches, large dining table, and kitchen island counter stools. The smart TV, sans cable service, is set up for your personal streaming accounts. The kitchen is supplied with every tool and small appliance, including Air Fryer, that you need to prepare a decent meal, along with some cooking staples such as olive oil, salt, and pepper. We also have a drip coffee machine with Folgers coffee, teas, creamer, and sugar. The first floor also has a bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a half bath off of the foyer.
The second floor has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is a primary bedroom with a king bed, dual closets, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and soaker bathtub. Enjoy your small private balcony for 2 off of the bedroom. There are two bedrooms on this floor that each have a queen bed. The middle bedroom is the smallest. In the hallway there is a full bathroom with a shower bath for those three bedrooms. There is also a second floor laundry closet with a washer and a dryer.

The basement of the home will be open only for groups of 6 or more. The basement has 3 queen beds and another full bathroom. One queen bed is in its own bedroom and the other 2 are in the open basement. New game room with Pop-a-Shot basketball, retro game system, ping pong and darts.

The fenced back patio of the house has a table and chairs and another small seating area. A charcoal grill is provided to make the outdoor space perfect for entertaining.

There is a ton to do on High Street and the up-and-coming N. 4th Street. It's super easy to get around using any GPS mapping.

Local Tip: Columbus meter maids love to give tickets- read the parking street signs in the downtown area and on neighborhood streets!

For security purposes, we require a photo along with a valid driver's license during the booking process.

We are currently not hosting local residents.

There is an additional guest fee per person/night for the 7th guest and up. The guest fee will be calculated on the quote breakdown when entering the correct guest count into the reservation or inquiry. Only registered, paying overnight guests are permitted at the residence. The guest fees allow us to offer the home at cost effective prices to small and large groups (example- a home can sleep 10+ guests but a lower rate allows 2-4 guests to rent it as well). Please ensure you have the correct guest count and make any changes before the start of your reservation. Refunds for additional guest fees are under the host’s discretion.

There is a carriage house apartment over the garage that shares the backyard. You may see the carriage house guests in the backyard. The laundry for the carriage house is in the garage -you may see carriage house guests in there as well.

We observe quiet hours from 9PM to 9AM. There is a noise monitor in this home to help keep noise to acceptable levels for all guests and our neighbors. This measures sound decibels only, no recordings or anything of that nature. If there is a noise issue, please feel free to contact us and vice versa, we will contact you.

We provide starter quantities of essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, dish pods, and laundry pods (typically 2 of each) to help you get started. We also supply shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience, along with coffee, creamer etc.

For longer stays or if you need more during your visit, we kindly ask that you pick up any additional supplies you may need. This helps us keep our rentals affordable and eco-friendly for all guests. Thank you for understanding.

There is no handicap access. There are steps to enter the front and back doors of the house.

Guests with allergies and related medical issues and/or sensitivities- we cannot 100% guarantee that the vacation rental is free of pet dander, cigarette smoke, air fresheners/cleaning product scents, or any other elements that may trigger a medical problem or sensitivity.

House guests have parking for 3 vehicles- 2 parking spots in the garage and 1 vehicle behind the garage on the concrete pad. The parking garage is for mid-sized SUVs and trucks or smaller. Large size trucks/SUVs or vehicles with extended height fittings will not fit. On-street parking is available for $5/day under our City's permit system- please contact us to register your vehicle.

$129.00 non-refundable Damage Waiver fee is REQUIRED for all reservations. Damage waiver covers up to $1,500.00 of accidental damage. Damages deemed intentional or by negligence will not be covered by the damage waiver and will be the sole responsibility of the guest. If Ozone machines are needed due to strong odors of any sort, a $500.00 fee will be incurred by the guest.

For your safety and protection of the home, there are exterior cameras located on the front and rear of the home. There are no interior cameras.
