Clean and safe
We enjoyed coming into Bucerias and the property was clean. It is very basic and had a nice kitchen to cook with. The rooms and bathrooms were older but clean and efficient. We were there in what MX considers winter and we were wishing there were more blankets at night and a couple more pillows and the beds weren't comfy but not bad and they were not big issues for just a couple days. The security to get into the Coto was friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful. Unfortunately due to Covid we weren't able to use the wonderful pool that was just in the backyard and our kids were sad but we found a water park open to enjoy for the day. There is a nice grill and patio set to enjoy eating outside. The shower was like a trickle of water which was probably my biggest issue and the hot water didn't even turn on in our bathroom but I hope those can be fixed and the owner was very easy to deal and communicate with. You are a short 10-15 min to the beach and downtown Bucerias where there was yummy street food and restaurants + shopping.
