Beautiful, large apartment in the middle of everything

We loved this place! There was lots of space, and the owner and Paulina (caretaker) were wonderful. Paulina picked us up from the airport and took us straight to the apartment. Gave us a map of the town and suggestions for restaurants. What was nice about this place is that it is close to both the Jewish district and the Market square. We walked everywhere, and two blocks away was a great tourist booth, with great prices. Many restaurant and coffee shops were very close by.

Great spacious apartment in city centre location close to attractions and amenities

Very pleased to be met on arrival and taken to apartment by Paulina who explained everything, sorted out the wifi and welcomed us to Krakow. We really enjoyed the location on the edge of Kazimierz with good bars and restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to Rynek Glowny. We found internet guide Krakow in your pocket very useful and visited most of the suburbs in the guide in our 10 day stay. We definitely recommend the apartment and would stay there again. Thanks Paulina and Malgortza.

You will be very fortunate to stay here!

Krakow was our first stop on our first trip to Poland. What a great beginning having an opportunity to stay in such a grand, lovely home. After a long flight from the U.S. we were most appreciative of being met at the airport by Paulina who is absolutely lovely. She was our contact person from the beginning, speaks English and is extremely responsible, always answering my queries quickly. She took us directly to the apartment, showed us around, gave us some pointers and was then only a quick email away if we needed anything. I cannot compliment her enough. The apartment itself is as lovely as the pictures, extremely spacious, immaculately clean, upscale, beautifully furnished, great Wifi, and just perfect for us. The bed is large, comfortable, and we slept well as the bedroom was very quiet. The bathroom is very big and has a great shower. The kitchen has many staples including spices, cooking oils, paper towels, etc. My only recommendation would be a microwave oven, however, the stove and oven certainly suffice. The location is perfectly situated being about a five minute walk to both the Jewish quarter and the Old Town. We are an older couple and we were able to walk everywhere, including the train station and Oscar Schindler's factory across the river. There are many good restaurants nearby and I highly recommend Introligatornia Smaku Restaurant in Kazimierz which is very close to the apartment. Needless to say we loved this beautiful home and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a lovely place to stay in Krakow at an absolutely bargain price. Thank you Paulina for everything!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday in this apartment, we found it clean and comfortable and perfectly situated to get around the whole town. Paulina was very helpful and gave us a few good hints on our way from the airport.

Convenient location; spacious apartment.

The location was a big plus . . . convenient to both the main square and the Jewish quarter. Pauline was helpful when we checked in and again when we checked out. The single beds in the living room weren't as comfortable as we would have liked, but the bathrooms and kitchen facilities were ample.

Absolutely wonderful apartment full of character and olde world charm.

This apartment was amazing, lovely big rooms but also cosy and warm, we loved the olde world charm, the tall ceilings, wonderful large double doors, antique furniture and artwork, all of which added to the atmosphere of being transported back in time, but with the added bonus of a modern kitchen and bathroom, the tv and wi-fi was also a useful addition. The apartment couldn't have been in a better location, as it was in walking distance to most of the tourist attractions, like the Jewish quarter, the main square and old town and Wawal castle etc, loads of restaurants and cafes nearby, plus supermarkets often open 24/7 Paulina collected us from the airport and took us back again when the holiday was over, she helped us with the luggage and provided lots of useful snippets of information for where to go and places to visit, she spoke perfect English and couldn't have been more helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone .

The apartment was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, warm, well-equipped

The apartment was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, warm, well equipped and tastefully furnished in a traditional style. The location was only a few minutes' walk from the Glówny Rynek, the Main Market. We were warmly welcomed and shown around by Paulina, a friend of the apartment owner's. Paulina was helpful and obliging in every possible way. A dossier with useful tips and recommendations for visitors to Krakow was thoughtfully provided. Our only slight grumble was the absence of any German-language television channels among the many foreign channels provided by the cable company. That was a pity, as one of our group spoke no English and none of us spoke Polish. But we doubt that there's a better place to stay anywhere in Krakow. Highly recommended!

The flat was spacious, comfortable and in a good location for both the Old Town and Jewish Quarter

We enjoyed our stay in Cracow and at the apartment. Paulina met us at the airport and also dropped us back. She was lovely, spoke immaculate English and could not have been more friendly or helpful. The apartment is well located for tourists on a short trip like we were, with everything we wanted to see being within comfortable walking distance. The apartment is large and the way it is presented has an old world character and charm to it that we liked. Being able to sit out on the balcony with a cup of coffee or a beer was a real bonus.

Large apartment in great location

The large, third floor apartment was well-equipped and in a perfect location, within a few minutes walk of all the sights in old town and the Jewish Quarter. Paulina provided lots of useful local knowledge, and transportation to and from the airport was much appreciated. The only downsides were the early-morning trams on the street below (it took a night to get used to the noise), and one of the single beds had a poor mattress.

Wonderful

My wife and I, both seniors, stayed in this apartment in Krakow for six nights. It was amazing. A very large apartment in an old building, the kitchen and two bathrooms were modern while the living space brought us back in time over 100 years. Great location. The balcony with comfortable chairs looking out over a tree filled inner courtyard was a special treat. Minor caveat - there is no elevator, but we got help with our luggage from Pauline upon arrival and departure and needed no help on other days. Pauline was totally helpful and spoke fluent English (better than she realizes!). We have stayed in many apartments in Europe and this one is tied for first place.

Amazing Property

We couldn’t have made a better choice when deciding to rent Margaret’s wonderful apartment in Krakow. From our first inquiries until the day we returned to the U.S. both Margaret and Paulina were extremely helpful, providing us with numerous suggestions on dining, tours and where to exchange money, just to name a few. The option of having Paulina pick up and return us to the airport was wonderful. How nice to enter a foreign country after a very long flight knowing that someone will be there to meet and shuttle you to your apartment! The apartment is on the top floor of a very old building and is located between Kazimierz and the Main Square. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the heart of Kazimierz and around 10-15 minutes to the main square. Tram stops are located right outside the building, even though you may have no need to use them as most of the main tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. As soon as we walked into the apartment we knew we had made the right decision on where to stay. It felt as if we had stepped back in time, but also had modern day amenities. The floors are fabulous and the extra bedroom is massive. We imagined large family gatherings in this room in decades past. We were blessed with wonderful weather during our stay. So nice, in fact, we were able to leave the windows open all night long on several occasions. I know some previous reviews say that street noise could be a problem for some, but it certainly wasn’t for us. We loved hearing the trams and activity outside. The gorgeous weather also allowed us to sit on the porch in the morning and enjoy our coffee. What a tranquil area to sit and plan your activities for the day. And, if you’re tired of being constantly on the go, grab a book and relax! If we ever return to Krakow we will look no further for accommodation. We’ve been renting from VRBO and HomeAway for 20+ years and this apartment ranks in the top few.

Fabulous old apartment central to Old Town and Kazimerz

We had a great stay here, the apartment is lovely and very well equipped. Paulina met us and was extremely knowledge and helpful and there were plenty of guides and useful information in the apartment. Krakow is beautiful and it certainly helped having a mini heatwave!

Lovely property

Really enjoyed our stay at the property. It is a traditional apartment with traditional furnishings. It was kept lovely and warm and really clean and tidy. It is ideally placed for both the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter, both only a few minutes walk away. There is a 24 hour convenience store over the road as well as a coffee house and a bakery. Paulina picked us up from the airport and took us back even though it was the middle of the night. She is really helpful and good at recommending restaurants, places to visit and day trip company's. The bedrooms overlook a road and tram tracks and the trams start early in the morning so might not suit light sleepers. We had a lovely stay and would definitely go back.

Wonderful old property full of character.

Really special apartment. We are very lucky to be able to stay here. Feels you are living in part of the history of Cracow. Clean, comfortable, functional and Paulina, the manager, couldn’t do enough to help. Thanks to Margaret, the owner, for all her help prior to our holiday. We really look forward to going back. Cracow is a very special place to visit and it’s people were so hospitable. Thank you for a great experience.

Lovely apartment in an ideal location

The property was very clean and well-equipped with lots of space. Paulina arranged transfers for us which was great as we arrived in the evening. Lovely to be left tea coffee and milk. The apartment is ideally located for exploring Krakow on foot and there was lots of information about Krakow. Would definitely recommend the property and the only small criticism I have is that the 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom were very hard !! Although that is obviously down to personal preference.

Beautiful truly elegant apartment in heart of cracow

the apartment is very large, bright and airy. The rooms are very elegant with beautiful wooden floors and tall windows, and very comfortably furnished.Although it,s such a large flat, it was so warm and cosy, truly a gem of a property and we loved everything about it.The property couldn,t be in a better location. A 10 minute walk to the Square and even less time to get to Kazimierz meant we could wander around so easily and enjoy lots of sightseeing in the snow, perfect. Paulina picked us up at the airport and was so helpful, giving us great advice on eating places and things to see and do, as well as showing us where everything was in the flat.I have certainly recommended this apartment to family and friends, and I hope to be able to stay again myself. A TRULY HAPPY HOLIDAY. Thank you for letting us stay in your gorgeous home.

Perfect Location for Touring Krakow

This apartment was perfect for our 6 night stay in Krakow. It is walking distance to all of the Old Town sights and also very close to Kazimierz, the Jewish district. The apartment is very spacious and beautifully furnished in period furniture. The WiFi worked perfectly and the TV had some English language channels to include CNN. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and silverware and the washing machine works perfectly. There is also a small balcony to sit on during pleasant days. There are many wonderful restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. Although we walked everywhere, there is a tram that stops right outside the apartment. Paulina, the apartment manager, is fantastic and very knowledgeable about the area. She even took us to the airport at 4:30 am on our day of departure. Since the bedrooms face the street, noise may be an issue for some people but earplugs solved the problem for us!
