4/10 Poor

You get what you pay for
Not very clean-lots of dust on windowsills, in corners of rooms and on mini blinds and under beds and furniture. Bathtub and toilet have orange water stains and some black spots around edge of tub. House could use a thorough cleaning.
Water in the shower and bathroom sink smells disgusting. There is a filter on the kitchen sink, but it only allows a very small stream of water so it made washing the dishes a very slow process.
Kitchen has the basics but nothing else. Very limited and decrepit pots and pans. If you like to cook and are planning to make your own meals, bring your own cookware.
Furniture in living room is mismatched and worn. There were lots of stains on the couch. Overall it felt like poor college student housing with hand me down, well used and abused, random furniture.
No rugs to soften the floors, including no door mats to wipe off your feet so you track everything through the house.
If you want to be within walking distance of anything in Cape May, look for something closer. I was prepared for how far out of town it is, so I’m not complaining, just want to make sure others are aware. It was a 15 minute bike ride to get into town. About 2.5 miles to the beach. Driving into Cape May and parking is expensive-there are some streets without meters, but watch for permitted parking.
