Welcome to our Cottage Fjellbua!
Our cabin is centrally located on Vaset area (800möh) in Valdres about 200 km north west of Oslo in Norway.
Vaset area offers a fantastic Norwegian mountain setting with magnificent scenery. The area offers a range of different activities all year round, Such as cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, and much more.

In our cabin, you will find plenty of space for everyone with a very good standard of your accommodation to make your holiday a success. During the winter the cross-country ski runs 30 meters off the cottage and in the summertime river flows 100 meters outside the cabin that offers swimming and fishing. The cottage is designed for 1-2 families or a larger group, with all the facilities designed for 4-12 people. The cottage has 4-6 beds on the ground floor and 6 beds upstairs and has two bathrooms with two showers and a large sauna for 10 people.

The dining area can accommodate 14 people. The living room is generous for two families to sit together and enjoy the evenings in front of the tv and the soapstone stove. Upstairs there is also a 15 sqm room with facilities for the children to play and watch TV themselves. The terrace is 65 square meters and offers a nice place for outdoor evenings during the summer. The entire cottage has floor heating so it's nice and warm on the feet. Please read more under the cottage floor plan.

Perfect House for our Holiday!

Thanks a lot! We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house! We where a big group and everything in the house worked out very well. Nice and comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and one big sauna. We spent many nice evenings in the spacious livingroom, very nice! We went cross country skiing on the ski tracks just outside the house, this was very good and many ski tracks to choose from in the area! We also went downhill skiing in the Vasetskicentre it worked very well for the whole family. We can really recommend this house and we are looking forward to come back another time. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Großes Blockhaus mit schönem Außenbereich.Zwei Kleinigkeiten die uns gefehlt haben, waren der Grill (steht im Winter nicht zu Verfügung) und ein Badezimmer im Obergeschoss.

Sehr schönes Haus & Super Lage :)

Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön und die Lage ist ideal für Langlauf und Wanderausflüge. - Die Küche ist unheimlich gut mit Geschirr, Besteck, Küchenmessern, Nudelzangen uvm. ausgestattet. Es gibt nichts, dass es nicht gibt. - Die Betten sind ok, aber kein Highlight, da die Matrazen recht weich und durchgelegen sind. -Die Sauna & Bäder sind wundervoll Da in der Objektbeschreibung nicht eindeutig beschrieben, eine kurze Info für zukünftige Besucher: Kaffeemaschine (Filter), Bettdecken und Kopfkissen sind vorhanden. Bezüge müssen mitgebracht werden. Vielen Dank, wir kommen sicher nochmal :)

Mooi pand met voldoende slaapgelegenheid. Mooi gelegen in een natuurlijke omgeving.

Het verblijf voldeed aan de verwachtingen. De vloerverwarming geeft voldoende warmte, maar na het stoken van de speksteenkachel werd het echt lekker warm terwijl het buiten meer dan 25 graden vroor. Mooie Huskytocht gemaakt in de nabije omgeving. Als er toch een puntje van kritiek is, dan betreft het de breedte van de tweepersoonsbedden. Wat aan de smalle kant. Verder is de inrichting volledig volgens de beschrijving, met voldoende spullen voor de 11 mensen waarmee we waren.

Sehr gute Bedingungen für eine Woche Ski-Langlauf mit 8 Personen

Über die Loipe direkt am Haus kann man viele verschiedene Langlauf-Touren starten, muss allerdings zuerst auch mal Anstiege überwinden. Das geräumige Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und komfortabel. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet. Ein elektrischer Wasserkocher und einige Kleiderbügel wären noch praktisch. Die Infos liegen im Haus bisher nur auf Norwegisch vor. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und ein Café-Restaurant mit WLAN sind zu Fuß erreichbar.

We are a couple with 2 children who have seens 20 years enjoyed Vasets all opportunities for activities in the Norwegian mountain environment. We like hiking, biking, fishing, climbing and canoeing in the summer and during the winter we go cross-country skiing and downhill skiing. All these activities can be done in Vaset just a few meters away from our cabin, which we think is fantastic.

We built this cabin ourselfs. Here you will find plenty of space for everyone living in the cabin and a nice environment for all kinds of mountain activities.

What makes this property unique

It flows a river 100 meters away from the cabin, here you can both swim and fish and take a sauna in the cabin afterwards. The ski trails run just 20 meters outside the cabin during the winter and then provides excellent opportunities for active skiing.
