If you ask me why to choose Africa House within the bunch of options you will find on airbnb, I will tell you that location and comfort are its main advantages. The apartment could not be in a better sector, we are located in all the heart of " zona rosa "of Laureles, where multiple restaurants, bars and nightclubs converge to offer the best of our country.The stadium metro station is a few minutes away.Come and taste our super typical Colombian breakfast (7k per person)

The apartment is very nice and well equipped, with everything you need to enjoy your days in the city of eternal spring. I am a lover of interior design, so you will find a very personal touch that I made with a lot of love for all the guests that come to visit my place :)

It is located in an excellent neighborhood, in one of the best ones of the city , in all the heart of the called "La zona rosa" of Laureles, where multiple national and international restaurants, bars and nightclubs converge to offer the best of our country.

The place is very warm, with an African decoration that manages to make you feel in Colombia due to our vast heritage of this continent. It is very spacious and has 8 rooms, each with a touch of different color.

The property is 3 minutes from the bars and restaurants of Calle 70. Walking just one block you have a million places to choose from. The location is incredible, the neighborhood is very quiet and the local store is literally right in front of the house, there you can buy the basic necessities, for larger purchases two of the most important supermarkets in the country, success and jumbo are 2 and 1 block respectively.

In this same area you will also find the Atanasio Girardot sports complex that has a huge sports facility open to the public just by registering and creating a reservation. Take advantage of the jogging tracks, pools of all shapes and sizes, the skate park, soccer fields, basketball courts, and much more. Also, aerobics classes like Zumba, and even salsa, are offered in the evening for free.

Moving around Medellín from my apartment is also great since the Estadio metro station is literally down the street, in the same way there are many bus routes that pass through San Juan avenue which is a few minutes walk away.

My property also has a washing machine and dryer (very rare in Colombia), a large and spacious kitchen equipped with all the utensils you may need in case you prefer to cook and save some money, plus a lady goes every day to clean the common areas and organize your room in case you require it and without paying an additional value :)

I highly recommend my apartment, our main goal is to make you feel at home on the days when you are away :)

Thanks for your reviw,the drive way is not a safe place to leave a car , we always explain that guest can do it under their own responsability, we gave you this information , too.This is a very safe area , however there are thiefs waiting for a chance everywhere, much more in a tourist area as this one. The cleaning lady is very kind and attentive , everyone speaks well about her , you are the first one complaining about her, however we spoke with her about it. This house has not any moho olor , it´s so big and with a lot of space , for the price is a bargain , it´s a shame you didnt enjoy your time. Thanks again

Better than Poblado

We stayed here for one week and found this apartment to be perfect for our group. The master bedroom has jacuzzi and a bathroom, and there are two other bathrooms. A couple of the other bedrooms are small, and the rest are nice size. Each room comes with a fan. There is no a/c but it was not needed when we stayed there. There is a large, newish washer with a large dryer. Most apartments in Medellin do not come with a dryer, so this came as a surprise to us. Another nice feature was the stove; two burners were electric and two used gas Laurels is a nice neighborhood, and the Metro is one block away. The Stadium is two blocks away. La 70 is a block away, with restaurants, stores, street food and street vendors are everywhere. I will rent here again.

-If you want to take the breakfast and lunch option, dont forget to tell me in advance in order to confirm it. Any preference or suggestion will be a greatly appreciated :)

-The price for breakfast and lunch is 7 k and 14 COP respectively, these values are NOT included in the final amount payed on Vrbo but are paid separately.

-If the guest want to check in earlier that would be under availability otherwise they can leave the suitcases until the house is ready :)

-The guest agrees that wont do parties in the house as well as big noises after 10 pm till 8 am in the mornig , also wont use drugs, will bring prostitutes or extra people into the house without prior authorization

-We are in a quiet residential neighborhood, a lot of bars to have fun just 3 minutes away.
-We have a cleaning lady who goes everyday to clean the aparment in case the guest ask for.
-There is a tv in each of the rooms and an extra one in the living room.
