We are happy to welcome you to a 19th century farmhouse completely renovated with quality materials and with all modern comforts (110 m2), on the edge of the woods of St Jean du Grais and 15 kms from Tours.
Our cottage has a large garden with the flowery terrace area facing south, suitable for rest in a green setting.
Le Clos des Buis (property of 6000 m2), near the hunting lodge of François 1er and a 12th century priory, is at the crossroads of the main castles of the Loire (Chenonceaux: 18 kms, Amboise, Villandry: 22 kms, Chambord: 70kms).
The municipality of Azay sur Cher (3500 inhabitants) participates in the regional program of the Cher cycling trails, and benefits from all the amenities (bakeries, tobacconist, pharmacy, supermarkets and a store of local products in short circuit also open on Sunday morning).

Us, son daughter in law grandson and sister ages from 10 months to 62. This was the perfect place from which to explore the Loire Valley. Bruno and Valerie are perfect hosts and the gites have everything you could want. Highly recommended

Malgré un week-end très pluvieux le logement correspondait à nos attentes. Le gros problème c'est que les propriétaires qui logent côté ont passé les deux jours à nous surveiller " comment garer les voitures! voir si nous sommes pas trop nombreux! surveiller pour voir si on utilisait pas un branchement interdit." Il faut bien comprendre que cela est très désagréable à vivre.

Les gîtes sont superbement aménagés et très confortables. Nous étions en famille, 3 générations où chacun avait son espace, dans un cadre fleuri, au calme, proche des commerces et des 2 châteaux que nous avons pu visiter (Amboise et Chenonceaux) pour notre trop court séjour de 3 Jours (8 au 11 mai 24). Valérie et Bruno sont très accueillants et toujours disponibles. Merci à eux. Nous recommandons cette adresse et nous allons en garder la référence.

Great family vacation!

The property was exactly what we wanted. It was a great home base after seeing the local chateaus and towns. We would go out in the morning and come back with the kids to play in the pool, and grill outside and enjoy the property. While out a bit on its own (which was perfect for us to relax), it was still close enough to a good grocery store (5 minutes) and all the main attractions (Amboise 25 minutes), Tours (15 minutes), Chateaus (between 25 and 45 minutes). As everyone has said, Valerie and Bruno were exceptional hosts, even providing fresh eggs from their chickens. It's always a toss up with some of the VRBO properties, but this was as advertised. Thanks for hosting at such a great property!

Super schönes Haus mit Pool

Das Ferienhaus mit dem Pool ist richtig schön und komfortabel. Der Pool ist zur Alleinnutzung und hat uns richtig Spaß gemacht. In dem Innenhof geht immer ein leichter Wind was bei dem warmen Wetter sehr angenehm war. In dem alten Bauernhaus sind die Wände sehr dick und entsprechend bleibt es innen angenehm kühl. Es ist sehr gut und hochwertig ausgestattet und schön eingerichtet. In der Umgebung konnten wir Radfahren, zum Schloss Chenonceau paddeln, klettern gehen und richitg gut Essen gehen. Bruno hat uns immer mit Tipps versorgt. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen.

Séjour parfait en famille

Nous avons passé une super semaine avec notre fille de 15 ans dans le gite de Valérie et Bruno (beaucoup trop grand pour 3, le gîte peut en accueillir 8 sans soucis). Tout était parfait. La piscine à eau salée, toute récente est très grande, toujours à bonne température et très agréable. Le gîte est comme neuf, très fonctionnel, et très bien équipé. Valérie et Bruno on pensé à tout , mêlés aux petits détails du quotidien qui manque souvent dans les gîtes : maniques, ciseaux, cure-dents , équipements pour le BBQ et ils s’assurent que vous ne manquez de rien à votre arrivée : sel , poivre, huile d’Olive , café…. La localisation est super pour visitez les châteaux, assez centrale, proche de Chenonceau, Amboise, Villandry et Azay-le-Rideau. À moins d’une heure de Blois et Chambord. Vélo et Kayak à proximité. Et les conseils Restos de Valérie et Bruno sont à suivre les yeux fermés : le restaurant La Boulaye à proximité du gîte est fabuleux. Merci aussi pour le Comptoir de Brune (salon de thé), nous y avons passé un agréable moment (et on serait passé à côté sans le tuyau)

Superbe logement entièrement rénové qui allie les qualités et le charme de l'ancien avec le confort des équipements modernes. Une grande cuisine parfaitement équipée, un grand séjour lumineux avec une grande hauteur sous plafond, des chambres spacieuses dont une avec douche, lavabo et WC, une superbe salle de bain et des extérieurs pour profiter des soirées estivales compose cette charmante habitation. L'accueil était super et les conseils avant et en cours de séjour de la part de nos hôtes se sont avérés judicieux. Nous y avons passé un séjour parfait en famille. Ne cherchez plus si vous souhaitez vous rendre en Touraine, ce logement avec une position centrale pour les visites de châteaux ou de caves est le choix idéal.
