Lovely modern house at the beach. We loved the well stocked kitchen and proximity to the beach. It was wonderful to be able to stroll out the door and onto the beach to catch all the fabulous sunsets.

Great location. Quick walk to the beach. Ocean is visible from the living room. Modern decor. Lots of light throughout. Bedrooms large and comfortable. Bathrooms modern and clean. Nice washer and dryer. Kitchen is large and well organized with two dishwashers, modern appliances, large and small, stocked with every utensil, cooking and baking items you would ever need. Two nice decks; one with a grill in close proximity to the kitchen. The other deck off master bedroom. We would definitely return and recommend this property to other travelers.

The house itself is great, with everything we needed. We liked the decor, the beds were comfortable, and it fit our group of 11 well. The beach access is a little unusual—not directly in front of the house, but not terribly far. If carrying a lot of beach gear, bring a cart or drive it to the parking area.Cell service was surprisingly poor, with some of us having no service and others only one bar. The Wi-Fi was also very intermittent. It didn't work at all the first night, but was working fine when the property manager worker came by the next morning. It continued to be unreliable throughout our stay.The biggest issue was the advertised arcade room with a pool table, games, and ping pong. We book a house every year for a family retreat, and ping pong is a big part of it, so this was a major reason we chose this home. When we tried to access the garage, it was locked. The host initially told me the amenity didn't exist and that I must have been looking at another listing. I had to send a screen recording proving it was advertised for this property before they acknowledged the discrepancy.We were offered 100 or a refund for leaving early. With 11 people already settled in, neither was reasonable. The host was also quite pushy for a response, even calling while we were at dinner. They ultimately blamed VRBO for the error.Nice house, but the missing amenities, unreliable Wi-Fi, and poor handling of the situation significantly detracted from our stay. Will not be back.

Great location and fabulous house. Not much of an ocean view due to across the street bushes and trees too tall to see over, but a short walk to the beach to see the ocean. Enjoyed my nice quiet weekend away by myself!

Beautiful place and view!

We enjoyed the house very much. Convenient to walk to town, beautiful view of the ocean, easy access and we cooked some amazing meals in the kitchen.

Great Pre-Christmas Family Time

Right across the street from the beach at Manzanita. What a wonderful way to spend quality time with our family. The accommodations were terrific, and communication with our host was superb!

Lovely home, great for families

Our two families had a wonderful stay at the lodge in Manzanita. The space is well appointed, with both large common spaces, and the ability for the kids to have their own floor to spread out, play games, etc. There's easy access to town and local amenities, and the beach is right across the road. Overall a great stay and very accurate listing.

Blissful Getaway

This home was charming, clean and comfortable. Its location across from manzanita Beach can not be beat. We took long strolls along the beach in the morning with the grandkids and then back with them in the evenings to fly kites and jump off the sandy grass dunes. We loved the gas fire pit behind the home and visiting there as a family. It was a wonderful vacation and now a lasting memory.

A Truly Delightful Spot on the Coast

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful lodge, with modern Pacific Northwest decor at its finest. Spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds, a spectacular living room space, and a well-stocked kitchen. Views of the beach and the sunset to the right from the front deck. A few steps across the road to the beach, and just a few blocks' walk in the other direction to the town of Manzanita. Perfection!

Perfect family gathering spot

This property is lovely! It worked perfectly as we gathered our family for the Thanksgiving holiday from all across the USA. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious for many cooks in the kitchen. The bedrooms were excellent! The beds were comfortable and the bunk room worked great for our young adult kids. The living room and dining area accommodated meals, puzzles, games, and reading. The views of the beach and sunset were unbeatable! We walked on the beach every day and night and easily ventured into town to explore shops and neighborhoods. We had a memorable​ visit- and we hope to return.

Family Weekend

This was the perfect place for 3 families, each of 4, each with 2 teens. The teens slept in the bunk beds (they are all tall, 3 of them over 6 feet, so the bunks were a little short, but they fit and were fine. The other beds are super comfortable. The house has fabulous open spaces upstairs and a huge comfortable couch that allowed for game playing, the table has leaves to extend it, allowing for us all to eat together. There is plenty of cookware, plenty of serving dishes/plates/silverware, etc. So close to the beach with really easy access, and walking distance (either on the beach or the road) to the main street in Manzanita for coffee and donuts :) We will definitely rent again, this is one of the best beach houses we have ever borrowed!

Perfect beach house in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was well stocked and in excellent condition when we got there. The view of the beach and the surrounding landscape are picturesque. We enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit and the front deck. Access to the beach is an easy walk and the road in front of the house has minimal traffic. I definitely recommend staying at this beach house.

We won't be back

This was a very well located property and it accommodated our group of 13 nicely. The following exceptions lessened the experience. The curb appeal was generally messy. Yard unkempt. Old furniture either rusted or broken was stored visibly under back deck and around sides of house. A LOT of old wood from maybe a roofing or siding project plus big bags of who knows what under deck. Hose was running onto driveway when we arrived. House was misrepresented as having a view. The bushes had grown to a height that obliterated any chance of a view as shown in web site pictures from living room. Only a peek a boo view from one corner of deck was attainable. The pillows on couch were pilled and appeared very worn and I daresay dingy. The two living room chairs were very uncomfortable. Perhaps the red upholstered chairs in master bedroom would have been more appropriate in the living room. However we were warned not to move furniture. We were charged a service fee for NOT bringing a dog when we asked for a refund of one dog deposit. Requiring 2 loads of laundry to be done before check out was unusual. The throw rugs all had curled corners and proved to be a tripping hazard as well as unsightly and worn.

Great set up for family vacation!!

Loved this location and the house! Everyone had tons of room, kids loved the bunk room and their own areas. Sunset views are perfect and proximity to beach was amazing. Home is exceptionally equipped for all your cooking needs even for a special occasion. Very cleans and thoughtfully decorated. A great VRBO experience!! Highly recommend!!!

Family time

The house was great with plenty of room for for our family of nine. Liked the open living room, dining room and kitchen. Deck with view a bonus. Beds were comfortable. Easy walk to the large sandy beach. Very enjoyable 3 nights.

Beautiful setting and beach!

We celebrated our Mother's 80th birthday here and it worked well for our party of 9 adults- parents, kids and grandkids but all over 20 yrs. Plenty of seating around dining and living rooms- great open layout for gathering. Bedding was comfortable and whole house was nicely appointed throughout. We cooked pretty much all meals for the entire week so we were quite happy with the kitchen set up. We also were able to use the fire pit one evening and make s'mores one night so that was really nice too! Across the street was an incredible beach which we walked everyday- so clean, wide and long- perfect for a nice long stroll! Short walk to downtown where you can find some cute shops and grocery stores are very close by as well. Everything was very convenient and Cannon Beach is just a short drive away.
