For lovers of the sea, families, hikers always or only on Sunday, foodies, Welcome to "66 la Caserne" ..!
Climb aboard this former customs house which overlooks the Aber Wrac’h (which means haven of peace in Breton ...) and enjoy this journey ...
From the living room, you become the privileged spectator of the landscape changing with the hours and the seasons and thus admire the entry on the scene of the boats and other sails which come and go at the rhythm of the tides.
You can stroll along the customs trail that runs along the Baie des Anges, with a view of CĂ©zon Island, Guenioc, Tariec and Garo islets ...
The beach of the "Baie des Anges" is only a few meters away ...

The house renovated in April / May 2018 is composed
Ground floor: a glass entrance, a living room with an equipped kitchen area (Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, etc.) as well as a shower room and toilet.
Upstairs, 2 bedrooms (1 140cm bed, 2 90cm beds) with a sea view.
An annex located 2 meters from the entrance has an extra bed for 2 people, a shower room and a laundry area.

Fantastic property and location

The view is amazing, looking across the bay at the spectacular coastline, and rocks in the sea. The property was spotless and had everything you could want. Celine was proactive during the whole process although during our stay we never had cause to contact her. We ate at 5 different restaurants, a short stroll from the property. All were very good, and different. Full every night, so booking is essential. A walkers paradise too. Fantastic.

Ein wunderschönes kleines Haus mit allem was man fĂŒr eine schöne Ferienzeit braucht. Der Ausblick auf den Aber Wrac'h ist wunderschön und man kann Stunden damit verbringen sich die ein- und auslaufenden Boote anzuschauen oder auf das Auftauchen der AusternbĂ€nke zu warten. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gute Restaurants sind zahlreich in der nĂ€heren Umgebung mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Alles in der Wohnung war perfekt, wir wĂŒrden sofort wieder buchen. Danke an Madame Breton. Auch die Lage ist sehr gut. Die Strasse vor dem Haus wird nur selten befahren und man sieht keine Autos. Es lohnt sich wirklich dort hin zu gehen!!!

Semaine en février à Aber Wrach

Bel emplacement pour cette petite maison avec vue mer. Le chemin du GR34 est proche et permet de randonner sur la cote des lĂ©gendes. Nous avons pu visiter d'autres villes alentours. Gros coup de coeur pour Meneham. Il n'y a pas de boulangerie ni de commerces de bouche dans la ville. Il faut aller Ă  Lannilis. Concernant la maison, nous aurions apprĂ©ciĂ© avoir un lavabo dĂ©bouchĂ© sans avoir a y verser du destop (inefficace), du savon dans la SdE, du papier toilette plus qualitatif que du simple feuille, une Ă©ponge Ă  vaisselle neuve, une meilleure isolation de la fenĂȘtre de la chambre (par nuits trĂšs venteuses l'air froid y rentre) et la poignĂ©e de la porte d'entrĂ©e rĂ©parĂ©e. Pour le reste, la communication avec la personne en charge de la gestion de la maison s'est bien passĂ©.

Wunderbare Lage/sehr enge PlatzverhÀltnisse in den Schlafzimmern

Die Wohnung machte uns insgesamt einen guten Eindruck und scheint recht neu renoviert zu sein. Insbesondere die tolle Aussicht haben wir genossen. Allerdings haben wir festgestellt, dass sich diese Wohnung eher fĂŒr den Sommer eignet: Die Sitzgelegenheiten in der Wohnungen sind nicht besonders zum "chillen" (was wahrscheinlich eine Platzfrage ist) und auf der Terrasse ist es gegen Ende Oktober kalt und regnerisch gewesen, was aber unsere Entscheidung war. Ebenfalls wĂŒrden wir die Wohnung nicht Ă€lteren (wie wir) oder gehbehinderten Personen, so wie Menschen, die grösser sind als 170 cm empfehlen: Die Schlafzimmer sind unter dem Dach, rundherum Dach-SchrĂ€gen, so dass man vom Bett kaum aufstehen kann ohne den Kopf einzuziehen und hinauf fĂŒhrt eine schmale, steile Treppe. Letzteres ist vor allem Nachts unangenehm, wenn man auf die Toilette muss, welche sich im Erdgeschoss befindet. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war ok. Der SchlĂŒssel war in einer Box, da sie keine Zeit fĂŒr die Übergabe hatte. Das war aber kein Problem, da alles gut beschrieben war.

Vue Incroyable de la terrasse, de la piĂšce de vie!

Venues pour randonner toutes les 3 sur le GR34, et profiter de la proximité de la mer, nous avons apprécié ces 3 jours. Une voiture est nécessaire, et à cette époque de l'année, beaucoup de commerces, restaurants sont fermés;

.so wirkte jeden Morgen der Blick auf das Wasser. Das war fĂŒr ein Ă€lteres Paar fast schon Unterhaltung genug: Wassersport, AusternbĂ€nke, imposante Segelschiffe, kein „Hully-Gully“ und schließlich der gigantische Tidenhub. Schnuckelig eingerichtet und auch fĂŒr die Selbstversorgung bestens geeignet. Sehr persönlicher freundlicher Service durch die EigentĂŒmer.

Wunderbarer Ausblick auf die MĂŒndung des Aber Wrac‘h

La Caserne 66 ist ein kleines Juwel mit sehr schöner Terrasse und einzigartigem Ausblick auf die Bucht, die sich im Laufe des Tages mit den Gezeiten stĂ€ndig verĂ€ndert. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war unkompliziert, das HĂ€uschen in perfektem Zustand. Aber Wrac‘h ist ein netter Ort mit Yachthafen, guten Restaurants und einem schönen ehemaligen Kloster. Auf den alten Zöllnerpfaden kann man entspannt wandern und die Natur genießen. Wir fanden es toll!
