Cozy cottage located 2.6 miles off I-65 in the heart of Horse Cave KY.
Sleeps up to 13 guests, 3BR, 1BA, large living room, formal dinning room with fully functional kitchen and grocery Stores 2 blocks away.

A minut away from antique malls, Hidden River Cave, Rappel Adventure Park 2.3 mi from Kentucky Down Under Zoo and ONLY 9.4 miles from Mammoth Cave.

The Cottage is located near historical railways station/motel ( the one like in the western movies) which was demolish 14 plus years ago. Railway still passes through the town few times a day/night. More information can be available at the Horse Cave city hall which is fewer blocks away from the cottage.

First on front door side facing to the yard/driveway.

Nice visit - house was very clean!

We actually stayed in a different vrbo by this owner because the original house need unforeseen repairs just weeks before our arrival. The owner was great to accommodate. The house we stayed at is old (typical in the area) but it was clean and didn't smell old at all. Typically in old houses it can be dusty and the linens have an odd smell but not this house. We could tell the owner took care of the place.

Mammoth Cave

Chinar was very kind. She stopped by and brought us some chairs to sit on the front porch. There were not as many beds upstairs as listed. If you stay for more than 2 days, there is no where to put the trash, only one can outside.

The big garbage can is out side and we provide the roll of garbage bags and out side its plenty of place to put extra garbage. when you checked out house was trashed the kitchen and refrigerator was overflown from trash. You all have used all beds listed. Both roll away beds wore used as well as all extra beddings was used too. Thanks for the text you sent that guys had a great time at our place.

In the center of everything

The place was clean and in the center of town, close to many of the attractions we wanted to see. Property manager was in contact promptly and communicated when a storm knocked the power out in town. Loved the place

Everything was clean and as pictured. The host provided snacks which we really appreciated since the kids were hungry upon arrival and we were trying to unload before supper. The beds were very comfortable and there was a complete kitchen. Close to many caves, horse back riding, zoo, dinosaur World. Good location. Would definitely stay again. The host thought of everything

The property was very clean and the kitchen had a enough items that simple cooking could be completed which was nice. The house is on the older side but everything worked and matched the photos. The location to caves was good and there was a great coffee shop in Glasgow not far away.

House Weekend Rental

Cleanliness, dishes Available, comfortable beds, toiletries provided, Bonus fans available, and good location. It will sleep thirteen but we found we are glad we didn’t invite more than 7 because there is 3 queen beds, 2 full beds, and the rest is couches and 2 cots for sleeping. So, it worked out good for us! Parking is lacking if you have multiple vehicles with a trailer but besides that it was a good place to stay at a very reasonable price. We are all satisfied with our stay.

Good Property, Nice Host, didn't get deposit back

The property was nice and had everything we needed in it. The host stopped by to check in with us and was very sweet. On another note, we were confused about the reasoning behind taking our cleaning/security deposit. The host had little explanation as to why the entire deposit was taken after our stay and while we did not see a point in asking for it back we did leave the house in good shape (at least we thought).

Very thoughtful renter who goes above and beyond

The owner supplied us with snacks & water as well as pop. We were here for our grandmother's funeral & there were several things we forgot to bring. To our surprise coffee was supplied shampoo, body wash even ear plugs since there are train tracks down the street.

Right in the middle of it all.

We got to the house and everything was clean and tidy. My only complaint was the occasional trains near by. It was located close to so many places to have fun adventures and the owner was very gracious and easily reached.

Hope to see you amd family in the future again. it is a very small town & train runs through the town and that is the reason our price are half than our competition we already have that mantion in the description and we also provide the earplugs for our light sleepers. The train only passes through few times a day/night.
