Cosy cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Check in was easy with a key lock by the door, and although there were other Cabins nearby the site was quiet and peaceful. The cabin was well equipped with everything that we needed, the only thing we couldn't find any evidence of was the WiFi (I had assumed 'Wireless Internet' listed as a feature meant there would be WiFi) However, the mobile signal is good at the cabin so it was not a problem for us. One point to note is that the cabin is located a good 14 miles outside of Taynuilt, and the road to it is single track with passing bays. We found this added a significant time to our journey each day as we headed out to Oban and the Islands. I only mention it as the exact location is not clear on Vrbo, and I had originally thought the cabin was in Taynuilt and had planned our trips around that location.

Relaxing break from city life
It was 3 years since myself, my husband and our adult son and daughter had been together, and it was the perfect break for us to reconnect. The weather wasn't great but we managed to dodge the showers and had 3 lovely walks in the area. Our only other comment is that we weren't given the cabin number (44 - Strae) so we drove round in several circles before I phoned David for it!

Fabulous location and a wonderful get away
Strae cabin was fab. Perfect location for privacy and quiet. I had a wonderful stay. Surroundings were beautiful! No internet access (as described on vrbo). No freezer compartment in fridge, so please don’t take frozen food! All cleaning items, extra blankets, toilet and even kitchen roll was provided. Hairdryer also in drawer. Tea, coffee and sugar were also in the food cupboard. They thought of everything you may need. Please remember to bring your own fire wood if you arrive after 5pm, as the local shop will be closed. The bed was extremely comfortable, as was the whole cabin and terrace area. I would definitely love to return. There was a problem with the toilet, which hopefully they will have fixed by now, but it certainly would not put me off from going back. Reported to housekeeping whilst there and the booking agent when I returned. If you need to get away from it all, I would thoroughly recommend! Thank you!
