Enter into Winterwood 3 and immediately take in the modern design aesthetic including in the updated kitchen, bohemian living room and open dining room. Rest your head in the gorgeous bedrooms including a Primary King Suite on the upper level, Twin sleeping nook off the Primary Suite that shares an attached ensuite bathroom and a lower level Bunk Suite with Queen and Twin bunks and private ensuite bathroom. All the beds have cozy bedding fitting into the gorgeous Santa Fe design feel. Relax after a long day of skiing in the private on-site sauna or take in the surrounding nature off the private deck with seating for four. This modern townhome has everything your group needs for a hip vacation with easy access to world-class skiing and mountain biking.

Wonderful retreat

We enjoyed our stay at Winterwood 3! We always look for a place with a deck and grill and it did not disappoint as we were blessed with a visit by a momma moose and her baby while sitting on the deck in the evening! The condo had everything we needed and was quiet. Even though we couldn't see the creek, we could hear the running water! So serene! We would recommend this condo; however, not for people who don't like stairs.

Cool and lush

This place was beautiful. From the decor and updated feel, to the sound of the river and planted surrounding the property. It was much bigger than our family of 5 needed, which was nice!

Wonderful stay at Winterwood!

We loved our stay! Location fantastic! Very quiet! Beds incredibly comfortable! One of the best equipped kitchens of any place we have ever rented. If you love to cook, you will be happy with this kitchen. There is also an outdoor grill. Beautifully decorated.

Great 5 days in the boat

This was a great apartment in a great location. The shuttle was super convenient, and we were also a 5 minute drive for a drop off or pick up at the base of thunderwood, where we avoided the lines at the gondola. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of room to spread out. My only feedback would be to add a second bed in the office off the master. Would definitely stay again.

One ‘sauna’ ski trip

Had a blast. The condo was clean, kitchen was well-appointed, and the back deck was glorious. We also enjoyed the sauna. If the check-in wouldn’t have been delayed, and if the shuttle could have dropped us off at Thunderhead, it would have been even better.

The Steamboat Resort is no longer allowing shuttles to drop off at the Thunderhead lift, but luckily it is still a short shuttle ride down to the Gondola. Couldn't have asked for more

Not only was your condo perfectly placed on the mountain next to Burgess Creek, where our soundtrack was the constant flow of the stream… but it was beautiful, perfectly kept and better stocked than any rental we have stayed in!! It was a much-needed retreat and we only wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

Perfect Ski Townhome

Townhome is everything as described. The location to the ski resort is fabulous and the van makes it super convenient even though you can actually walk. The management company is superb - attentive and helpful in every regard, even when we were locked out in the evening. The only issue is that the furnishings are worn and need upgrades.

Wonderful time

We had a fantastic experience staying at Winterwood. The property was exactly as described and the check-in process was seamless. The shuttle service provided was phenomenal and we did not wait longer than 8 minutes for any ride to arrive for pick-up, but it does only run until 8:30pm. The shuttle takes you anywhere besides Strawberry park hot springs and the airport. The property was roomy and cozy. We definitely would stay here again if we re-visit Steamboat.

Cool place with AWESOME decor!

We came for some work meetings in Steamboat and loved this place. It feels really private because of the forest & river in the backyard. It feels really fresh & new with awesome decor and cool little touches that feel like a luxury hotel. Plus there's a private sauna downstairs that was a real treat. Comfy beds that felt new and nice. Check in was really easy with Steamboat Lodging Co.'s guest app and they made sure we had everything we needed. Also had lots of parking and privacy. 5 STARS!

Great townhouse

The home and complex was right near the slopes but in a tucked away nook so it felt like you were off the beaten path. Inside was cozy and comfy. The deck in the back faced a babbling creek and woods. It was so relaxing. We stayed in Sept so did not take advantage of the skiing but its SS is beautiful either way. The management team was awesome when we left behind an item. They were on it right away! Hope to stay again some time!

Winterwood Steamboat Springs

We visited in late July, the property, as listed, does not have A/C and does stay on the warmer side. It was a nice, well kept property. The beds were all comfortable and the cooking utensiills were sufficient The basement, where the bunk and queen, is much cooler. The small office/toddler bedroom didn't seem to cool dkwn well even with fans.

Updated & Quiet Townhome in the Mountains

I had the privilege to grow up in Steamboat and specifically at Winterwood as a young child. It was nice to see the beauty of the property nestled into the quiet mountains and hear the pleasant sounds of Burgess Creek. The check-in process was a breeze and the prompt communication was an added ease to the experience. The townhome was clean, updated and well equipped with some added extras. I would highly recommend this property as well as the management company. I know that we plan to return to this townhome and enjoy all the different seasons from it.

Serene family getaway

We loved this unit for our family with kids ages 13 and 9. They had their separate room on the bottom level and we were upstairs in the master. I could live on the patio listening to the creek. It can be heard throughout the unit with windows and sliding glass door open. Kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were comfortable (maybe master was a little too soft for my liking but my husband loved it). Great space to spread out but also be connected as a family. Would definitely stay here again. Super close to Creekside Trail which was a beautiful hike with lots of nature and wildflowers; trailhead was just outside the parking lot for the unit; ticks are present in spring/summer so bring bug spray.

Communication with the property manager was excellent. We had a welcome gift waiting for us - what a nice surprise! The townhouse was immaculate and the location was spectacular in the summer - great hiking right out the front door. I could spend hours on the porch listening to the creek. Highly recommend this home.

Back to the “Boat”

We hadn't been to Steamboat for 20 years. Picking a place to stay can be a challenge. Some property and management companies aren't what they seem to be online. I have used and been extremely pleased with Winterpark Lodging Co. 8 times. When I found out they have a sister company in Steamboat , I had no worries about picking a property. Beautiful, clean , and quiet 3 level property surrounded by snow covered trees. Easy shuttle service takes worries and cost of finding parking at base. Website photos really help knowing what your getting. Although it was just my wife and adult daughter, I would highly recommend this for a family with kids. I used the private sauna 3 times. A lot of decks are dirty and covered with snow in the winter. This covered deck was clean with gas grill and clean table and 4 chairs. Master bedroom and bath on top level are great. From the bedroom it's 2 steps up to spacious 2 sink bathroom. Loved the shower. Unique feature-through master bedroom is a nice size rectangular room with a top bunk ( very comfortable). This would be great for young child that want to be close to mom and dad. Remaining space is open. I highly recommend this property. Staff is excellent and can help you pick the right property. I will be a return customer. Our stay was the first week of February. MANAGER'S COMMENTS: So great to hear Mike! We would love to host you again in Steamboat.
