Named for the sugary dunes of the Emerald Coast upon which it is perched, Emerald Dunes is a quaint condo complex located in Destin. It provides a relaxing setting for vacationers to escape the stress of daily life and enjoy their time in a true paradise made up of sunshine, sand, and no worries. Emerald Dunes 105 is a ground-level, two-bedroom, two-bathroom beach rental that can happily host up to eight visitors. As a coveted end unit, the condo offers stunning panoramic views of the coastal landscape.

Leave your cares outside as you step into this cozy cottage-style, Gulf-front rental. The open and spacious living area features a dove grey couch, burgundy loveseat, and accent chair. This comfortable seating ensemble surrounds a simple coffee table and faces a TV, making it a great spot to chat with friends and family or binge watch your favorite show. A set of windows provides stunning views of the sugary sand and jewel-toned water, so guests can enjoy the beauty of the beach even while inside. The large kitchen includes a long bar, four stools, and plenty of counter space for serving up tropical drinks and coastal appetizers. The dining table for six sits between the kitchen and a set of sliding glass doors that lead to an outdoor patio overlooking a lush lawn, sandy dunes, and the beach. From the patio, guests are free to enjoy an outdoor meal, watch the sunrises and sunsets, relax in the salty air, listen to the soothing waves – or all of the above!

The master suite has a king-size bed and private bath, while the guest room features a queen-size bed with access to a full hall bath. A twin bunk bed is tucked in the hallway for additional sleeping space.

A stay at this property also comes with the added benefits of some exceptional amenities, which include a seasonally heated pool, simmering hot tub, and beach access. Popular restaurants are located nearby for when guests would rather eat out than spend their vacation time cooking. Perfect family vacation

Decided last minute to extend our family beach trip. Found this very last minute. It was perfect. They even got us in to our condo early for our short stay! The location couldn’t be better. The private beach area was awesome!! Loved it and hope to return next year

Perfect place for little ones!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay with a toddler and an infant: ground level but still had gorgeous gulf views, beach access right out the back door and pool access right out the front door, and a grassy area for the toddler to play when we weren't beaching it. Our babies were too small for the bunk beds, but there was plenty of room in the master for a pack and play and portable toddler bed. We would definitely stay again.

Great location and view for the price. Only complaint is housekeeping does a very poor job cleaning. The master bathroom jetted tub looked like it had never been clean. The jets had mold and mildew coming out of them.

Best Unit In the Complex

Corner Unit. Step out the back door and step onto the beach. First floor unit close to the parking lot. The unit is nicely furnished. The pool is nice and clean. We had a golf cart delivered to the condo for use during the weekend. There is on site security as well.

This is not a private condo. People are constantly walking through the back patio area to get to the boardwalk. We had to purchase paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap & Kleenex. The supplies in this condo are very much lacking. For the price of this, I will be sure to go with a private renter next time and not a rental corporation. Go elsewhere!

12 hours into our stay our fridge wouldn’t stop randomly spitting out ice cubes. Email was sent and someone stopped the same day and defrosted the ice machine. A lot of scuff marks and minor damage and dirt on walls and floors. Pest control came and sprayed inside the house. He comes once every 3 months I guess and we were the lucky ones. Ran out of toilet paper and couldn’t find trash bags. So, at that point I just went and bought some. Very good at sending automated emails one after another. Dryer also did not dry clothes.

Dirty lived in condo with a million dollar view.

This place is HORRIBLE!! Aside from the real "lived in" feel, It was so dirty upon arrival I had to wash the sheets myself because it was clear from all the sand in the beds, they had not been done after the last guests. There was an ungodly amount of hair on the floor around the toilet and stuck to the tub and seashells in the tub....also makes me think the bathroom wasn't cleaned either! The tile floor was covered in sand and various food debris, so much on the floor, i had to sweep before we brought our bags in from the car. While my kids were asleep in the bunk beds a light fixture FELL out of the ceiling and shattered on the floor next to them. The beach service wasn't paid for by the owners as promised amd wasnt resolved until 2 days into our 5 day stay. There was no internet our entire stay. An exterminator insisted on treating our unit when we were trying to leave to go to the beach. And the real icing on the cake was the horrible lady that lives upstairs continuously harrassing us and making unfounded accusations about people smoking, parking, and various other rants. She makes it REAL clear tourists aren't welcome! Oceanreef management did NOTHING in a timely manner to fix any of this. The housekeeping staff came at 6pm the next day to clean the bathroom and ONLY cleaned up the hair, maintenance came and took a picture of the light fixture and left without fixing it and we still have no internet.
