No Ventilation! The bathroom does not have a window, nor an exhaust fan. When we arrived the house smelled like a sewer. Also, they state they have a washer and dryer in the ad, but they told us upon our arrival that they were not working. You need to know that the view of the water is from outside of the unit, and only from the single window in the house, which is in the kitchen.
Nice and clean. Bedroom was weird without a window in it. Wonderful kitchen.

One window only in the unit, in kitchen behind the garbage can (only sight of the lake is from there). Lack of windows in bedroom especially makes the unit seem dark and closed in. The unit is basically a basement repainted, filled with some furniture & a few features that try to make it look like a VRBO rental.Only one air unit on wall which shut down sporadically and could not get heat to turn back on. Perhaps an instruction book for the entire place would have been helpful. Ruts in the road to the driveway could be a serious problem in wet or frozen weather. Not adequately supplied with shelving for suitcases and clothing. Had to drag chairs coaster tables over to put suitcases on. Bedroom badly needs a dresser, and bulbs “hanging by a fancy wire” by the bed felt tacky. .On the plus side, the unit was clean, well stocked with towels, views of lake from outdoors chairs were lovely, and wildlife in the area was very enjoyable - we watched a family of nine deer come by daily at dusk.
Check in so easy, with precise directions to entrance and code. Spacious living area with king size comfy bed. We enjoyed the view of the water and neighborhood deer. Ashley helped us view properties in the area. She was most helpful with everything.
This was a nice place, clean and good location. It was nice to come back from site seeing around Nashville to an airconditioned house. The furniture has changed from the pictures in Vrbo.
What a great little place. Quiet neighbor hood and a little sick and patio to enjoy coffee in the morning and the sunsets at evening time. Close to good eats and the freeway.
The place was clean, comfortable and peaceful. The setting was amazing. Right on the lake. It was so fun watching the wildlife and boaters all with Nashville as the backdrop.
I woukd definitely recommend.
The gravel road leading to the entrance was quite bumpy. There was an odd bump out that is directly over the bed impacting the head of the bed. No window in the bedroom. Decent location based on the activities we did. Not sure we would stay here again.
I visited my daughter who lives in a tiny place so the place was conveniently located and big enough to be together. I was able to prepare and host dinner for 4 then, one night my girlfriend, from another part of the state, stayed with me and then my daughter stayed with me the following night. This gave us ample room for a cozy comfortable visit. The view of the lake was stunning. The location and seperate entrance was both private and safe feeling. I would recommend it for others who visit our girl while she is living there. Very happy
The suite was cute. Full kitchen, nice view of the lake. Big bathroom and closet. Coffee pods and creamer were a nice touch. A few things that might keep us from booking again - The step up to the bed in the bedroom was unexpected. The lack of an air conditioning vent in the bedroom was unexpected. A fan helped but was not ideal. The Wi-Fi was very bad so I would not recommend trying to work remotely if staying here.
Good things: quiet, clean, big comfy bed, coffee/creamer provided, shampoo/conditioner, body wash/hair dryer and plenty of towels! Rudders’ is walkable and the neighbors were all friendly that we saw on our walk. Needs work: They didn’t answer our questions until we booked with them (after waiting about 2 weeks). There is a bench chair outside to sit on but the cushion was moldy. Also, laundry was not available. The listing also made it sound like kayaks/boat were available on the property to use; not the case. Those were the only things that were disappointing.
We really enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet and private, and being by the lake was amazing. The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need. We plan to return soon!
