Characteristic Country House, With Pool And Stunning Views Of Mountains

Casa Girasole is a characteristic, stone-built farmhouse, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills in the Italian countryside. It has been tastefully restored and modernized, highlighting the beautiful original features.
On the ground floor, there is a large kitchen with long, extendable dining table. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with fridge freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and many cooking utensils. Enjoy amazing views from the two large windows. The lounge has a TV and a sofa-bed, as well comfortable chairs. There is also a useful shower room. Upstairs, there are 3 large bedrooms, all with fantastic views, and a spacious bathroom with bath tub. A balcony looks towards the mountains.

There is also a separate accommodation, with living room/corner kitchen, sofa bed and shower room. This is ideal for older children who wish to have privacy, or if you are travelling as a set of friends. The area is also useful for preparing food to eat on the patio. The large covered patio has amazing views of both mountain ranges in Abruzzo, and of the nearby hills and the local town of Castilenti. It is a great spot for an early morning espresso, or eating your evening meal al fresco, whilst watching the sun setting over the mountains. From the patio, you can enjoy a dip in the above ground pool, which is available from July to October, whilst enjoying the views. There is around 7,000 sqm of garden, mostly grass, with olive trees and fruit trees. The land is gently sloping and is a great area for children to play safely, whilst you enjoy a glass of local Montepulciano on one of the many sun loungers.

Casa Girasole has been our holiday home since 2004, and in that time we have restored it and equipped it with all the items necessary to enjoy a very comfortable holiday. We have entertained many friends and family at the house, and it is great location for a relaxing dinner party, as well as a romantic hideaway. Having spent many weeks each year there, we have learnt the best places to shop, to eat and to visit. Our information folder passes on all this knowledge to our guests. We have decided to rent out Casa Girasole as we feel it is such a shame to leave it empty when we aren't there, and we want our guests to enjoy it as much as we do.
