this house was absolutely perfect! I had family come in from Florida last minute. Wanted to give them a nice winter getaway in this place is perfect. Had all the accommodations needed in a beautiful view to wake to every morning
Our group of 8 friends had a fantastic time. The house was perfect for us. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. The open concept living room/dining room enabled us to all be together in the same area!
Home was clean and well stocked with complimentary items like coffee, toiletries, Spices etc. It was easy to find and lit up well upon arriving. Driveway is narrow, so parking was somewhat difficult for multiple vehicles. You cannot drink the water from the tap! Owners supplied plenty of fresh drinking water in a water cooler which was convenient. I would have given 5 stars if it wasnt for the water pressure issue. Water slows to a drip from the shower head after just 3 minutes. This happened multiple times during our stay. Also happened when trying to do dishes. Had to turn off the faucet and wait 5 minutes or so and try again. This was uncomfortable in the shower eapecially when your full of soap.
Excellent house for the lake life! With all the comforts of home, our group of 6 adults had plenty of room to sprawl, sleep, and swim. Plenty of outdoor space with comfortable chairs for all. Plenty of bathroom facilities and comfortable furniture inside as well.
We loved it! Plenty of space for my family, 6 adults and 2 small dogs. It was an exactly as described. Location was perfect for us. Host communication was great. Sunrise views are beautiful! Would book again.
House was perfect for our family. The hosts thought of everything, home was fully furnished and very clean. The owners were very reachable and responded immediately. Would definitely recommend.

Love to hear that you had a great time. The sunrises are tough to beat!
Beautiful location on the lake, very close to all the wineries. Wonderful and very responsive host. Loads of space in the house. Great place for family.
Great place with awesome views. Too bad it was too cold to enjoy the water activities. Plenty of room for 4 adults & 2 dogs. Quiet neighborhood near all the activities and amenities of the Seneca Wine Trail. We'd definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for our annual family vacation in May 2023 and we had a two year old and a 9 months old with us. The space is so clean and spacious, we enjoyed our time here and the view from the deck was amazing!
We had a great time hanging out at the property and taking in the beautiful lake views. It was a perfect space for our family to rest and relax while also being close enough to wineries, restaurants, and other attractions when we wanted to explore. Would highlight recommend
Enjoy a beautiful sunrise every morning. The home is very spacious for a group or family. Make sure to bring outdoor chairs when staying. The location of the home was desired.
This is a spacious house in a great location with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the sunrise each morning and the ability to spread out throughout the house. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

It was our pleasure host you for your Seneca Lake getaway!
About the host
Hosted by Todd Cerino
My grandparents purchased one of the original cottages on Seneca Lake near Dresden in the 1930’s. The cottage is on Rockhaven Beach and still in its original form.
My brothers and I grew up enjoying summers on Seneca Lake. We knew all the neighbors and enjoyed boating, water skiing, swimming, skipping beach stones, catching cray fish, telling stories about the Native Americans, picking black berries, roasting marshmallows, big family gatherings, and so much more!
As we got older and started families of our own, we each decided to purchase homes on Seneca Lake to continue our long-standing family traditions for years to come. Like us, our daughters now spend their summers at Seneca lake. They were taught to swim, fish, and water ski on this lake. They learned how to run to the railroad tracks to watch trains passing, build bonfires, stargaze and all the other things we did as kids. And they’ve learned to enjoy time away from their cell phones!
While some of us have stayed in NY, some of us have moved out of state, but Seneca Lake is still our home away from home. We like knowing that other families are able to enjoy this beautiful place and make memories to last a lifetime.
In addition to our family traditions, we are avid outdoor people and love everything about what the Finger Lakes has to offer. Incredible wineries & craft breweries, endless miles of trails, dozens of waterfalls, national forests, nearby ski resorts, amazing fishing, great antiquing, quaint little villages, incredible farm-to-table cuisine, U-Pick farms, farmers markets, etc., etc., etc...
Why they chose this property
The Finger Lakes is one of the last 'undiscovered' great vacation destinations that I know of. The wineries and the outdoor activities available are without comparison on the east coast, and offer a very unique combination of things to do. We chose to purchase this particular home mainly because of the size of the lot (1/2 acre, level yard), easy access and size of the beach (115'), the views, and the layout of the house - which is VERY open due to the great room and the wall of windows facing the water. The lake feels like an extension of the house because of how the home is sited, and because of the wall of windows and the wraparound deck. We simply did not see any other home that was comparable.
What makes this property unique
The features of this house that make it unique are the combination of the open floor plan, the size of the beach, the ease of access to the water and the stunning views of the lake. Finally, this home sits in a residential neighborhood, not a rental community, so it's a rare find.
