About this property

Country Farm House - Fish Creek

Pretty much a 100% update throughout the home. Updates include a new roof, windows, cabinets, plastering, flooring, bathrooms and kitchen. The center part of this home was built around 1900 and it was originally a log home. We have exposed walls in the formal dining room and a second bathroom. The logs have been cleaned, sanded, refinished and re-chinked. They offer an excellent reclamation of the history of this home. There are two bedrooms down and two up. There is new vinyl plank flooring throughout this home. Large area rugs and carpet runners throughout the house. There is a large two stall garage that you will have full access to. This home also sits on 7 acres of beautiful land.

The large living room features 50" smart flat screen TV with Direct TV connection. This room offers a sofa, love seat and a rocking/recliner. There is a fireplace which is crafted from original Door County limestone. We added a gas insert which heats this room quickly for your enjoyment.

The master bedroom is 13' x 17' and has a king size bed and the room features patio doors leading to a covered deck facing the back yard. Your view stretches across the open meadow and into a forest of trees. Wildlife is abundant here as you will see turkeys and deer on almost a daily basis. A great place to enjoy your morning coffee. You will not be disappointed with this room which also has two sitting chairs facing the patio along with reading lights.

The 2nd first floor bedroom has a queen sized bed.

The kitchen has new cabinets and a smaller breakfast table that seats 4. This house also features a dining room that has seating for 8.

The main first floor bathroom is located between the two bedrooms. It features a tub/shower set.

The other first floor bedroom has one wall with the original logs exposed and refinished. This bathroom has a ceramic tile walk in shower.

The upstairs has two bedrooms. One has a full size bed with a 1/2 bath. The other bedroom has two twin beds. This room also has a small sink which works well for brushing your teeth and getting ready for bed.

Perfect set up

Girls trip to see the beautiful peak colors of fall. Mother Nature may not have cooperated since peal color week was a bit later this year, but our decision to rent this house was wonderful!

Great time

We have stayed here before and loved it! Location is great for us, near our friends who live up there. Well supplied with staples (spices etc.) so cooking was easy. Thank you!

Family Reunion

The house was perfect for 3 older couples. The kitchen was very well stocked with every plate, pan,orpot you could want. The house was very clean. We would recomend it to friends.

Great location

It was very clean and well equipped and supplied. We were a foursome of golfers who stayed 3 nights. It was conveniently located to the courses we played and to restaurants for dinner. Would definately stay again.
