I have stayed at 20 plus units over the last 10 years in Mammoth. This one is advertised as luxury and the price I paid I expected something decent. Be prepared to bring your own trash bags, soap, dish soap, toilet paper and paper towels. I reached out to management at first about trash bags and they did eventually bring some, after I already purchased some. When I asked about the other items we never heard back. This was not a big deal, but at that rate, I would expect the basics. The unit itself is tired, paint chipping everywhere, shower has a leak, the road noise all night from the snow plows scraping made it impossible to sleep. After a day on the mountain we were looking forward to getting into the hot tub. For some reason the tub wouldn't go above 92 degrees. Not the hot tub we were expecting. TV's are not smart TV's. older flat screens. The stereo was the same one from college in 1994 and you are limited to what was on the radio. The 13 minute walk to the village is a bit of a stretch. Felt like 20 mins uphill both ways in the snow :). This condo was more then twice what I have usually paid, even over New Years last year. Another bummer is there is parking if you bring an oversized vehicle. I was aware of this but was hopeful there would be something closer. We brought a Sprinter van and had to park far away off property. I would drop the family off and then go on a mission to park. REMOVE LUXURY FROM AD AND CHANGE RATE TO SOMETHING REASONABLE.
