The lodge and black bear cafe at Forest Farm and Retreat Centre

You won't find a more unique property as this one! If you are looking for privacy and an opportunity to get in touch with nature, look no further. This property has: a pond, organic garden, greenhouse, hen house, giant teepee and Arkansas' largest dream catcher. The Guesthouse has three bedrooms and sleeps up to 8, Black Bear's Brown Cabin, a bunk bed cabin located across the driveway sleeps 4 and is included for an additional cost. This cabin is considered the 4th bedroom and will be included with your reservation when you have a large group that exceeds the capacity of the Guesthouse.

Quartz crystals have been placed in many gardens on the land. Quartz crystal digging at the local mines is just a 15 minute drive away and so is beautiful Lake Ouachita, one of the cleanest lakes in the country. The Womble Trail, as determined by the International Mountain Bike Association, is an EPIC trail. This trail is just 2 miles away from the Guesthouse so you can ride your bike to the trail. The Ouachita River is located 1/4 of a mile away.

Nature surrounds and evening star gazing is a favorite activity for our guests. You can see the Milky Way on a clear night. This is an Arkansas Dark Sky approved site.

The Guesthouse is on a 15 acre retreat property and when combined with other units, can host larger groups. On the back end of the property is "tiny house row" where there are three tiny house sleeping units, a community kitchen, dining hall and bath house that service the sleeping units. This entire retreat property can host large group bookings of up to 22 guests. Also available are two RV spots that can be rented with additional fee.

The giant Teepee is for viewing purposes only at this time. Also next to the Teepee is Arkansas largest dream catcher and other unique "yard art" There is much to explore on this unique and private property.
