ILE DE RE - LA COUARDE - Charming house in the village, 2-4 persons

The house is located in a quiet street of the village, close to shops (restaurants, market, bakery, fishmonger, ice cream ...), and bike paths.
The village of Couarde is ideally located in the middle of the island, allowing to radiate by bike to all the other villages of the island.
The sea is 5 minutes by bike on each side (south or north beaches), as well as water sports clubs or tennis courts.

The house includes a very well equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, washing machine, ceramic hob, espresso coffee maker, microwave oven ...), a living room overlooking the patio.
Upstairs, a bathroom with walk-in shower, and 2 bedrooms: the first with a comfort bed 160x200, the second with 2 beds 90x190.

Very bright, it has been the subject of a careful renovation.

Lovely stay in La Couarde sur mer - perfect for cycling

This property was very clean and a great base for 11 nights. It is close to the town centre and only a short walk to the beach. Compact but enough room to relax and eat occasional meals. Room to keep 2 bikes overnight without encroaching on our space. Quiet street but very close to cycle ways to explore the island. Carine was a helpful and responsive host who met us on arrival and chatted to us before we left.

Adorable maison typique de l’île

Très agréable séjour dans cette maison proche des commerces dans une rue calme. Très bien équipée, la déco est soignée et chaleureuse. Petit bémol, le stationnement est un peu compliqué.

Idéal pour la plage ou pour circuler à vélo sur l’ile

Situé dans une petite rue à 3mn à vélo du marché, du carrefour contact, ou de la plage des Anneries, très belle plage de sable. Petite maison très bien rénovée et propre. Partie nuit à l’étage. Les toilettes sont au RdC. On trouve tout dans la cuisine, même un couteau à huîtres, une cafetière expresso, mais pas de cafetière filtre, du liquide vaisselle ou du savon liquide, même des verres à champagne. Pour résumer, on a beaucoup aimé.
