The apartment overlooks the valley of Mugello, backs on to the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and is surrounded by woods of oak and chestnut trees, interrupted here and there by little allotments of vegetable garden and olive trees. The old farmhouse has been brought back to its original structure and the apartments have kept the typical rural characteristics of the hilly district of Mugello, at the same time offering all modern comforts. The apartment is 45 square metres. It consists of one bedroom, one bathroom and a little breakfast-room, where you can find everything you need to cook by yourself. Outside the apartment there is an arbour. You can eat under it in the open air, enjoying at the same time the wonderful view on the valley. This is the ideal place to visit, alone or with friends, for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The garden is organized so that it is possible to relax in privacy. There are plenty of footpaths for those keen on walking, mountain biking and trekking. A little swimming pool will refresh your hot days here und will amuse your children. Other facilities, such as a private football ground, a ping-pong table are put at your disposal for a total relax. In our farm you will be in direct touch with the nature and the peasants’ everyday life of the hilly district of Mugello. If you are interested in knowing more about the products of our land, you could also directly join the landlady on the field, trying to get acquainted with the tricks of the trade. The farm produces chestnuts, kitchen-garden products and extra virgin olive oil. The establishment is situated 600 meters above sea level and enjoys a panoramic view. It’s only 8 km away from Vicchio di Mugello, an old village enclosed by walls dating back to the fourteenth century. Vicchio is the native town of renowned artists such as Giotto and Beato Angelico.
