Comfortable country home near the sea

This is a lovely relaxed country-style property where we felt very much at home for our stay. The house is not quite in Port Blanc itself but is only a 2 minute drive away and has the benefit of quiet private grounds and drive. Everything you could need is provided in the house including oyster shuckers and crab forks to enjoy the fabulous (and pretty cheap!) seafood we bought in local supermarkets. The coast here is stunning and Port Blanc has a lovely laid back maritime character. Highlights of our stay included an amazing shoreline family horse ride with the local equestrian centre, a nearby oyster festival, open-air sun-down drinks at the Hotel overlooking the beach, and a local running race on the last day that ended in everyone getting pelted with coloured powder dye then wading into the sea to wash it off! The coast here is very accessible for boating, canoeing and rock-pooling and feels very safe for kids. We loved it - thanks for a super holiday!
