It is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2-1/2 bathroom, 3,140 square foot accommodation. It is richly furnished with a large open living and dining area and a large, sprawling deck with a wading pool. The full kitchen has everything needed for food preparation. The Luxxe Master Villa features a master bedroom with large jacuzzi tub, his and her sinks and separate shower with rainfall shower head, large wrap-around oceanfront terrace, a smaller private deck as part of the lock-off unit, a plunge pool, gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, fully stocked wet bar and four 42' Plasma TVs.

The Villa also features a den area with sleeper sofa that can function as a third bedroom, allowing the unit to comfortably accommodate up to 6 adults and 2 children. Other amenities include free access to acres of pools (with wave pools and lazy river), beach, Kids Club, Spatium Spa and Fitness Center, Tennis, Nicklaus and Norman-designed 18-hole golf courses and an array of fine and casual dining. I grew up near Chicago; my wife is from So. California. I am a graduate of Lawrence University where I majored in music. Betsy attuned Whitworth College where she was a pre-nursing / biology major. I went to seminary and was ordained in the Presbyterian Church USA, serving thirty-eight years in parish ministry. I am a now retired. My wife is a lactation consultant at two local hospitals.

Why they chose this property

We first purchased with the Vidanta company in Puerto Penasco. We were drawn to the quality of their properties, the beautiful landscaping, and well-kept buildings. Nuevo Vallarta is in a class of its own. Amazing flora and fauna, large relaxing pools, the ocean and beautiful beaches, variety of reasonably priced restaurants and a yummy bakery, interesting nightly entertainment, great golf courses proximity to Puerto Vallarta, and best of all -- friendly, helpful staff. The resort and the area sold itself to us. We really enjoy spending time there.
