Cozy place where we cooked dinner together and played board games. The lobster folks were quick friends. Perfect weather. Windows kept a cool breeze in the place. Loved it.
Our stay at this cottage was perfect. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was peaceful and picturesque, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and recharge.
Husband and I stayed for two weeks with adult child and their pal with us for a few days of our stay. Clean, well equipped cottage with a lovely view. We had a great time visiting Mystic, the Nautilus, all three Book Barns. Lots to do and see, great sea food to be had. Highly recommend.
This is the cutest little summer home.
House was clean, interior is very welcoming and homey. Beautiful water views in a quiet neighborhood. We couldn’t have been happier.
Perfect place to stay for our first trip to Connecticut. Right by the water, 10-15 minutes away from anything. Kitchen was well stocked for a week stay with all the supplies needed. We really enjoyed having the kayaks that were available. All in all a great week!
We stayed for a month in this quiet, quaint neighborhood. With a beautiful view of the lake, I was able to work remote while spending time with my grandchildren that live nearby. We were close to live music, Mystic and pickleball. Thank you for having us!
I can't say enough good things about this property. i immediately felt at home and relaxed. You have a direct water view to a tranquil cove where I could kayak almost every morning. The house is well stocked with everything you might need and things you didn't even know you'd need. The neighborhood is great for morning and evening walks and the neighbors are friendly. The host was very responsive the one time I had a question. You are close enough to Noank, New London, and downtown Groton for a quick trip for dinner or groceries. I can't wait to stay here again!
Great little home. Our family of four loved the house and location. Our kids (aged 17 & 13) shared the small room. Although it was tight, the trundle bed allowed for each to have a full-sized twin bed. The kitchen was awesome, it’s beautiful, great layout and has all needed kitchenware. Appreciated the washer/dryer. Although there is no central A/C we greatly appreciated the window unit in the master bedroom as well as the roll-in (and attach to window) unit available for use in the second bedroom for the kids, both were enough to keep us comfortable for the really hot/humid days.
The view from the front rooms and deck were gorgeous of the cove and cute little airport. We loved watching little planes taking off and landing. It’s a very short walk down the street to the beach/point to take in ocean views, really pretty.
We visit family in the area so we will definitely return!
Nice house in a great location. Quiet neighborhood with great views and a small private rocky beach. Location allowed us to easily enjoy all coastal CT has to offer.
This house was perfect for my family’s needs! My husband and I stayed along with our 5-year-old and 4-month old. Everything was very clean and well equipped. Our son loved the private little beach at the end of the road and looking for crabs. Eastern Point Beach is very close by too and the house comes with a beach pass, but for walk-ins only. We ended up driving and parking only because we have a lot of gear to lug with our kids. Eastern Point beach is extremely clean and very family friendly. The house is in a great location, close to local attractions such as the Sub base and Mystic. Would definitely book again!
Wonderful beach vacation.
Loved being able to kayak to wherever we wanted to lay our towels
House was immaculate and well stocked with everything you could need
Area neighborhood was non touristy, the neighbors were all super nice
Loved exploring Mystic, UConn Avery Point, The Mystic Seaport and all the side beaches where there were bands playing (Thurs) and fireworks (Fri) and all easy drives
Loved it all!!
My family (2 adults and one toddler) stayed during the fourth of July weekend. The home was as described and the perfect quiet getaway. It is a 10-15 minute drive from Mystic, close to a small rocky beach down the street, and a mile walk (or drive) to Eastern Point Beach, which was the perfect calm setting where we were with other families with young children.
JP was a great communicator, was quick to respond to any questions, and it was easy to navigate anything in the home. The kitchen was fully stocked, so we were able to make a quick grocery store trip and have meals in the home without issue. He also let us know of a local fireworks show that we all were able to enjoy. Neighbors were all friendly, always smiling and waving when we passed on our walks.
There is a small local airport across the street, but we did not notice much air traffic or even hear many planes. We also love watching planes take off and land, so it was a little perk for us when we could catch them.
The home was very clean. Fresh linens and bath towels were available if we needed. Very well done vacation rental. Perfect for a small family. Plenty to do within 15 minutes, even with a couple of rainy days in between. Would definitely love to stay here again. Great experience overall.
Our stay at JRs house was relaxing and pleasant. Check in was easy. The house was clean and stocked with the basic necessities. The kitchen had all the utensils and cookware that we needed. The space was the perfect size. Directions for anything we might need was clearly written out. Directions for the TV, air conditioner, etc. Lists of nearby activities, restaurants, beaches, etc were all provided.
This house was conveniently located across the street from a kayak launch. This made it very easy to take out kayaks out and paddle around to a beach for some fishing and relaxing.
We also enjoyed taking the short drive into Mystic for dinner and shopping.
The one downfall was the queen bed. It was very stiff and uncomfortable. A small mattress topper would make the world of a difference.
I would definitely stay here again
The property has water views from the living room, but is not on the water (the water is across the street), which makes it much safer to stay at with young kids. Eastern Point Beach is very kid friendly and has nice sand, and did not feel like a long walk (about a mile) even pulling a wagon with beach gear and a toddler. There is pay parking too if you do not want to walk. There are no restaurants within walking distance, but plenty to order delivery from. We also enjoyed exploring Groton and Mystic and found nice waterfront places to eat that were also kid friendly! Would highly recommend for families with young kids.
The home is Beautiful, well equipped and clean. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and the views are breathtaking. The kayaks were an added bonus and directly across the street was the entrance to the water, what a wonderful experience.
JP was great at communicating and we would highly recommend this vacation rental.

We stayed for a long weekend in early June. Conveniently located ~15 minutes or less from everything (aquarium, beaches, hiking, etc). Perfect size for our family of 3. We were able to put our daughter to bed and enjoy drinks on the deck or a movie in the living room without disturbing her. This rental had all the little details covered -- from helpful cooking utensils to a step stool so my daughter could more easily reach the sink.
Cozy cottage, well equipped, quiet neighborhood , and convenient location all added up to the perfect getaway. Water access with kayaking to secluded beach was an added bonus. Highly recommended.
