About this property
Winnebago Spacious Home♥ Beautiful Kitchen LG Yard!!
Relax in a spacious and clean Ranch home in a very quiet neighborhood. All guests and small groups welcome.
You will have access to the entire house and the front and backyard. This includes a well outfitted kitchen and dining area, comfy sofas in the living room around a smart TV, board games, laundry room, a large master bedroom with its own TV and master bath, a driveway for 2 cars and a large backyard with a two-level deck and fire pit!
The 2 car garage is also available for guests. To keep pricing affordable for all reservation sizes, the walk-out Basement with an additional bedroom, bathroom, living room and rec room with a pool table is available at no additional charge for reservations with 6 guests or more. Smaller groups than 6 can request basement access from the host when reserving.
We set this up to be your private home, and we can be available during your stay if you need anything from me or my co-host!
Winnebago is a village 15 minutes outside of Rockford, and right off route 20. This is a quiet neighborhood of home-owners, with well maintained single family homes and lawns.
You are 5 min. from HWY 20, 4 min from downtown Winnebago, and 10-15min from Rockford.
Due to its dangers, the basement wood stove is not a working fireplace. The upstairs fireplace may be used if we have the gas turned on for winter, and the backyard firepit is available. Bring your own firewood if you plan on using the backyard firepit!
Some things to be aware of before reserving so that they do not negatively effect your stay:
1. The person booking is required to send a digital copy of their government I.D. to the host before check in day.
2. Our lawncare service shows up and mows when weather permits, which can be rare! Please do not be surprised if the lawn is mowed during your stay.
3. The thermostat is a NEST smart thermostat, please be familiar with its use! We'd be happy to provide a link to a video tutorial.
4. For security reasons, the exterior entrances are under audio and video surveillance. There is no audio or video recording inside the house, with the exception of the garage, and locked mechanical room.

About the host
Hosted by Samuel Szobody

I grew up all over the world, and my wife and I still travel on occasion. A new person to meet at a new place to visit is always a pleasure.
I am an architect and investor, with woodworking and specialty coffee as my skilled hobbies. The only thing better than the eclectic and exciting things I do and people I know, is my gorgeous and fun-filled wife Christen. Some of our favorite activities involve traveling to different rentals ourselves as we visit our family members around the world.
We bring what we look for when we travel, to our spaces: those small things like good coffees and teas, simple good design and cleanliness, a responsive host and the freedom of self check-in.
As an architect and host, the "why" is a pursuit and love of that which sustains your living and ours.
I can't wait for our space to create workability in your life for however long you decide to stay. Until then
