Ready to relax? Valley View is for you! This gorgeous home comfortably accommodates up to 13 guests with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.

The spacious living room includes a large comfy couch, a queen sleeper sofa, an HDTV, a pool table located behind the couch, and access to the deck where you can take in those valley views! Just off the living room is the kitchen which includes plenty of counter space, bar seating, efficient appliances, and all of the cooking and dining essentials. Need more seating? The dining area offers not one but two large round dining tables with plush chairs.

The master bedroom is a fairytale complete with gorgeous views, a king-size bed, a TV, and an additional queen sleeper sofa. The attached master bathroom offers dual sinks and a shower/tub combo as well as a large walk-in closet. The second and third bedrooms each feature a queen-size bed as well as access to the second full bathroom that also includes dual sinks and a shower/tub combo. The fourth bedroom includes a king-size bed while the fifth bedroom features a twin daybed, wall-mounted TV in front of a sofa, and gorgeous valley views. There is also a third full bathroom as well as a laundry room with a full washer and dryer available for guest use.

The backyard will have you spending most of your time outdoors as there is a large, shaded deck, a yard for the kids to play, and your own private swimming pool, a gorgeous gazebo, and is complete with one of the best hillside views in the area. This home is new to the rental market, so more details and photos will be added soon!

Valley View offers all the peace and quiet of your own private country getaway but is also located only 8 miles from historic downtown Wimberley, where you'll find all the action of unique shopping, excellent dining, water recreation opportunities, local theatre, and much, much more.

Valley View eclipse

The house was the perfect spot for our family to gather for the solar eclipse. The view and pool were amazing. The house provided nice space for everyone to do what they wanted.

Great place, great views, friendly & responsive hosts

Our large family recently thoroughly enjoyed staying at Valley View Hill Country Home in Wimberley to be close to a family wedding. The lovely spacious home had many rooms, large kitchen, several full bathrooms, and a beautiful pool with nice deck looking out over the valley. The views were just amazing!! We enjoyed sunrise coffee and sunset dinners on the porch with practically all the amenities we would have had at home! Vacay host was super responsive and real Texas friendly in all our communications. We will definitely consider staying here again! Did we mention the view? Wow!

Although the house accommodated our sleeping requirements and the view was beautiful it just had a lot of negatives. The house is old and really needs many upgrades to be worth the money they are getting for rental. The house was musty smelling and was not as clean as it should have been. The front door would not lock easily and looked very easy for someone to break into. We saw silverfish in the house and hopefully we didn't bring them home with us😬. The kitchen drawers were filthy. The dryer would not work which we found out after we had washed a load of clothes and couldn't dry them. The stairs off the back deck is very rickety and dangerous. I was just very disappointed in this house and probably would not use it again unless there were many upgrades made to it. Another disappointment was the garage was locked up and was not a available for guests to use. It would have been convenient to bring in all our supplies and luggage through garage instead of through the rock driveway and up sidewalk to house. Overall our Cousin reunion was great and we all a wonderful time.

Girls Trip 2023 - 111 Valley View

The house was spacious and view wonderful but needs some sprucing up. Lights in pool gazebo didn't work. I was told to check the breaker box. Really not my responsibility. Someone did come and fixed but it was an ordeal to get that done. Fan lights on deck didn't work. Cigarette butts and trash on ground around and under the deck. Trash on floor in house and floors stick. Unfortunately no broom or mop to take care of this or any spills we might have had. Ran out of toilet paper and had to go buy some. Spout on refrigerator ice maker froze up and wouldn't dispense ice. I cleaned it once but happened again. Used dryer but had to stand next to it holding door so it would run. Killed a scorpion in laundry room. Felt the place had a lot of hazards, glad we didn't have kids with us. Two ladies hit their ankles on the corner of the flower bed in front entrance. Lots of jagged rocks around the pool. Several boards on deck around the pool coming loose and sticking up slightly and a couple of holes. A few people tripped on on these. This house could be a spectacular place if the upkeep was better, less hazards and it had mop, broom and toilet paper.
