"Le Paradou": family cottage (3 bedrooms 1 bathroom)

Le Paradou is a functional family chalet located in Médières (Bagnes municipality) just below Verbier. Located on the biggest Swiss ski area (410 km of slopes), the valley offers many possibilities for activities throughout the year (hiking, climbing, paragliding, mountain biking, golf, swimming pool, ice rink, tennis, squash, basketball, badminton, ...). Southern exposure with an unobstructed view of the Bagnes valley and the Combins mountain range. Ideally designed for 2 couples with children, the chalet has:

Ground floor: living room, dining room: sofa, armchairs, WIFI, TV antenna (HDMI input), DVD player, mini HIFI (auxiliary input).
Kitchen: fully equipped kitchen, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave
Entrance hall with toilet
Floor: 2 double rooms, 1 room bunk beds + extra bed.
Bathroom: walk-in shower, toilet, washbasin.
Balcony
Annex: storage space (10m²) + 1 shower.
Outside: large private parking (snow plowed winter), 3 terraces, barbecue, garden furniture.
Very easy access by road (cleared all winter).

Beautiful views! Our family enjoyed a few days of skiing in Verbier, and the coziness of this chalet. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, including a fondue set! There was heat problems when we first arrived, but the technician came right away and fixed it. Although you can get there by bus from Le Chable and Verbier Medran Village, it's probably more convenient to have a car.

Truly special! Le Paradou exceeded our expectations while vacationing to Verbier. The home was clean and has a full kitchen. While the space is a bit tight, (5 Adults & 2 Children) we enjoyed the traditional chalet style. The views of the valley and mountains from this property belong on a postcard.

Amazing journey at Verbier

We have spent 5 delicious days at the Paradou Chalet, located just below the ski resort of Verbier, part of the 4 Vallées. The chalet, the owner & everything was just perfect. We knew that joining the ski resort was a matter of connecting thru the Telecabine of Le Châble, which requires a car but is not a pain, as soon as you park the car before 9 AM.

Wonderful 4-day stay

Very cosy and well-equipped chalet. It was very clean and all necessities were available. Communication with owner (via whatsapp) was very effective and friendly. The location is nice, halfway le Chable and Verbier, but you always have to go by car/bus to get to either of these. Wifi could definitely be improved. All in all very enjoyable and we would certainly consider returning here.

A perfectly cozy stay

The house is homey, clean and well appointed. Every available bit of space is efficiently laid out to maximize the options for comfort and relaxing. The annex provides ample room for storage leaving the cozy interior free for a stress free vacation. The hustle and bustle of Verbier is easily accessible but the grounds allow for the feeling of being away from it all too. Highly recommend.

Had to sign a separate contract with property owner. Contract was written in French. Had to separately rent bed sheets for 3 beds for 70 Euro. There was no arrangement to have towels until the property owner was able to arrange 3 sets of towels for 18 Euro. Pretty much assume you have to bring everything when renting this Chalet. That sheets are extra and there are no towels should be explicitly stated in the listing. Otherwise Chalet was cozy and Patricia who met us upon arrival was excellent.

Tres bon chalet pour we entre amis

Chalet propre, bien fourni (accessoires cuisine, basiques de cuisine, sdb et toilettes) Bien localisé a proximité de Verbier (2kms faisables a pied si on est sportif). Pas trop bruyant malgré la proximité de la route qui monte à Verbier Tres bonne communication avec la propriétaire. Check in hyper aisé

Nettes sehr gut ausgestattetes, sauberes Häuschen mit schönem Blick, direkt unterhalb Verbier. Unkomplizierter Check in und Kommunikation mit Nicole. Der einzige Nachteil: direkt an der Straße nach Verbier mit viel Autoverkehr.

Charmant chalet isolé à 10min en voiture de la dépose minute du départ des pistes

Très bon échange en amont avec Madame Doolaeghe, que nous remercions pour sa réactivité et gentillesse. L’arrivée et le départ se sont très bien déroulés grâce à la disponibilité et la flexibilité de Monsieur Fernandes qui s’occupe de la remise des clefs sur place. Propreté irréprochable. Beaucoup de matériel sur place (dont une machine à café nespresso). À noter, que les draps ne sont pas compris dans la location (en supplément), il faudra aussi penser à prévoir des torchons pour votre séjour. Vue magnifique depuis le chalet, une terrasse ensoleillée toute la journée (très appréciable en hiver pour les personnes qui ne skient pas). Pour les skieurs, la dépose minute pour les remontées est à 10minutes en voiture. Chalet très facile d’accès, possibilité de se garer (les places sont déneigées). Nous recommandons vivement.
