Very unprofessional

I made a booking with the owner and they happily took my money straight away. Leading up to the apartment, i tried to get into contact with the owner numerous times a and there was no reply. On the day of my booking I went to the property and no one was around. I looked around to see if the keys were hidden somewhere and they weren’t. I called the owner and the owner wasn’t responding. I’ll try to message the owner on the home away app and then they decided to cancel my booking when I was standing outside the door. I found this very aggravating and unprofessional because my my family and I had plans. The owner then cancelled the booking and started processing a full refund. I then received a call from someone else saying that my booking was cancelled I wanted to know the reason why and they just said they just wanted to cancel it for no valid reason. Please do not book with this owner because they will not communicate with you at all and they will cancel your booking on the day regardless of what your plans are.
