We recently discovered this little gem in the paradise of San Blas. This island, called Yansailidup, offers everything one would imagine of a perfect island getaway. Away from the mass tourism, you will find peace and tranquility during your stay, giving you plenty of opportunities to bathe in the balmy ocean, snorkel around the reef, lounge in a hammock, while observing another spectacular sunset or counting the shooting stars at night.

Isla Yansailidup is located a short 35 minute boat ride away from the port of Carti. This island is well maintained by its loving Kuna family and aside from its post-card perfect beaches, it features well-constructed, comfortable private wood cabins with shared bathrooms and a beautiful ocean-front restaurant.

ITINERARY:

Arrival Day:

Your adventure starts early in the morning. We offer optional round-trip transportation service (extra cost USD 50 p.p. payable to the car driver), picking you up from your hotel/lodging in Panama City (Pick up from Playa Bonita area can be arranged for $60 p.p). Kindly be ready to meet your driver between 5:15am and 5:45am who will safely transport you and up to five other guests to the Port of Carti. Relax and start enjoying during the 2.5 hour journey through the spectacular jungle highlands, spotting wildlife such as sloths and monkeys. (Please note: This is a curvy road, so please prepare accordingly, if you get motion-sick).

Please don't forget to bring your passports for the Kuna territory entrance and $22 p.p. payable in cash to the border patrol.

At 8:30am your lancha/boat driver will be waiting for you at the Port of San Blas to take you to your island (extra cost $50 p.p payable to the boat driver).

Arriving at Isla Yansailidup you will be able to swim in the pristine waters, explore the island, savor delicious meals, or just relax on your patio gazing at a spectacular San Blas sunset.

Typical Day on the island:

After a delicious breakfast, start enjoying the island. Spend a day relaxing under a palm tree, bathing in the warm turquoise ocean or make friends with the Kuna family that takes care of the island and the cabins. Lunch and dinner are served in the outdoor, ocean view restaurant. San Blas will guarantee to take your worries away as you start getting in tune with the relaxed island atmosphere, while watching a spectacular sunset.

Departure Day:

We will serve another delicious breakfast at the island. Start saying good bye to your new Kuna friends and get ready for a complimentary San Blas ISLAND TOUR to two other islands and the amazing Natural Pools.

By 3:30pm you will return to the port, where your driver will wait for you to return to the port of Cart

By 4pm, your driver will be waiting for you at the port and safely transport you back
