Thank you for your interest in our newly renovated farmhouse. The Losee House (pronounced Lucy), is located 3 minutes from the Cooperstown Dreams Park and is less than 10 minutes from Cooperstown.
The Losee house was remodeled in 2019 to include 5 bedroom suites (4 with queen beds and 1 with 2 full beds), each with its own private bathroom (2 with tubs and 3 with walk-in showers). Each suite also includes a flat screen TV, individual temperature controls and a ceiling fan. We also provide bed linens, towels, tissues and toilet paper. The home also features a state of the art foodie kitchen located just off the entry. Appliances includes a Wolf range with 4 burners, stainless steel refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. A Wolf toaster and blender, a direct plumbed Keurig (no need to add water) and a 14 cup coffee maker. We also provide a crockpot, dutch oven, waffle maker, nutribullet, pots and pans, glass baking ware, kitchen aid stand mixer, dessert trays and pans, mixing bowls, hot air popper, plates, bowls, utensils and glassware for all. The kitchen is also fully stocked with paper plates, napkins, paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher and dish soap, aluminum foil, ziplock bags, K-cups, sugar, flour, condiments, olive oil and a variety of herbs and spices.
Our extra-large porch includes an outdoor lounge space equipped with an outdoor flat screen TV, large ice chest and an outdoor dining table which seats ten comfortably. Outdoor entertainment options also include a stone patio with a gas grill (backup propane tank included), charcoal grill, and a firepit with seating for up to ten of your closest friends for those late night s’mores. We do provide paper starter, kindling wood and firewood to get you started. Additional common space features include first floor laundry (with laundry detergent, softener and dryer sheets for your convenience), a first floor powder room, large living room (with a huge couch, flat screen TV, X-box, Playstation, and many board games). We also have a pac n play, high chair and baby gate upon request.
Losee House History The farmhouse house was originally built circa 1849 by a Dutch family with the surname of Losee (pronounced Lucy). Between 2018 and 2019, our family was able to completely remodel the home, working to preserve and reuse as many original features as possible. Wood floors were saved downstairs and partly upstairs, while furniture pieces (shelves, end tables, coffee table, bar table and TV console) were custom built from original floor joists, stair stringer and interior framing that was salvaged during the remodel. The home’s original doors were re-purposed to form each headboard in the bedroom suites, as well as a coat rack of door knobs in the entry. Finally, a horse shoe found during excavation has been hung over the door to bring good luck.
We hope that you find our farmhouse has everything, and more, that you will need during your stay.
From our family to yours, welcome to Cooperstown.

The accommodations were the best I’ve seen. It’s a completely remodeled house with top end appliances, spacious kitchen and living room and beautifully renovated bedrooms and baths. We really appreciated the way the hosts supplied so many of the little things you often must run out to buy on these types of trips. I highly recommend this rental.
Amazing stay! Texted and let us know when the house would be ready. The home was filled with many little details that were perfect for our week stay and helped us with our park days at Dreams. Would highly recommend staying here!
The house was perfect for our week in Cooperstown. The location between town and Cooperstown Dreams Park was great. Easy drive to get to both. Plus lots of close restaurants. The house had everything we needed. We had 4 couples and a few younger siblings and it fit us all great. We loved eating and hanging on the porch. Would definitely recommend to anyone heading to Cooperstown.
This is one of the best properties I’ve ever visited! The kitchen had everything you could possibly think of. The house was the cleanest I’ve ever been to. The decor was absolutely gorgeous! We loved the home-made furniture pieces and uniqueness of this home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the back porch and playing corn hole in the cozy yard. The proximity to Dreams Park was key, as we were constantly back and forth to the fields. I HIGHLY recommend this property and look forward to coming back with my next son!
This property is magnificent, and the owner is every bit as fantastic. The house was extremely clean, and everything felt brand new. Each of the five bedrooms has its own full bathroom and separate thermostat, allowing everyone to control the temperature in their room. The home was exceptionally well stocked with everything imaginable, including plenty of towels, extra sheets, cooking utensils, and laundry detergent. There was even a PS4 and an Xbox to enjoy on the big-screen TV.The location was also ideal. We were less than five minutes from Cooperstown Dreams Park and right in the middle of several restaurants. Dollar General was only a two-minute drive away, and Price Chopper and CVS were both less than 10 minutes away. The house is located right off NY-28, making it extremely easy to get in and out.I would say it felt like home, but honestly, it was even better! I joked with the owner that I need to hire her to come design and stock my house for my family. We truly did not want to leave. I cannot recommend this property highly enough!
We had a group of 9 stay in this house for a weekend trip and we loved it! Plenty of space for all of us and the house was beautiful and exactly as pictured. The host was wonderful and so responsive. Highly recommend!
We have vacationed with this group of college friends for over 50 years. This property was perfect for the 10 of us. Each couple had their own bedroom and bath. The kitchen was spacious and stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. The house was immaculate and comfortable. The outside patio area was awesome! The host was always available by text if we had questions. There were excellent restaurants nearby when we didn’t want to cook. This whole experience was perfect for us.
The property was not only immaculate but also warm and inviting. It had everything we could ever need and more. I’ll be going back next year when my younger son plays in Cooperstown. Thank you!
From start to finish, it was a great visit to Cooperstown! House was amazing and Sheri was the ultimate host. We enjoyed our trip immensely. Thank you.
For the second time we chose this perfect property while visiting our elderly relatives. We shared two meals on the spacious, easily accessed porch. Host was responsive and happy to help with a minor problem. We love this clean and comfortable home so much, we will be back for another stay in the spring.
A beautiful property, carefully furnished and maintained. High end appliances. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and thermostat.
Hosts are very accomodating and easy to contact.
My dad, brother and 11 year old nephew stayed at the Losee House and loved it. It’s so well kept, luxurious and features lots of cool nods to the history of the Antebellum era home. The owners were very friendly, made lots of great recommendations for dining choices and plowed the driveway for us because it snowed about a foot the first night we were there. We had a memorable weekend and will fondly remember our stay at The Losee House.
We stayed in June for my son's week at Cooperstown Dreams Park. We had the best stay - the house's location is perfect (4min to Dreams) and it has everything you could ask for and more! Sheri really thought of everything and the house is immaculately maintained/clean. You won't find a nicer house in Cooperstown. Thanks for a great week, Sheri!
High end, many many extras. Super clean and in like new condition. Awesome kitchen very well equipped. Extra comfy bedrooms with individual thermostats in each suite. Heated bathroom floors! Excellent communication aand availability of hosts. Very flexible and accomodating.
We had a fantastic stay at this lovely home! It was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 3 kids—spacious, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. We especially appreciated the convenience of built-in surface phone chargers at bedsides and throughout the house. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together, and the porch was the perfect spot to relax after long days. We also had fun playing cornhole in the yard! Our trip was centered around the All Star Village (about a 25-minute drive), and although it was a bit of a drive, it gave us the best of both worlds—close enough for daily games, but far enough to enjoy the peace and charm of this beautiful home. The house is also conveniently located near Cooperstown with easy access to grocery stores and anything else we needed throughout the trip—even a great local butcher where we picked up some delicious steaks to grill. We’d absolutely stay here again—highly recommend!
