Guess I'm confused on the 1 star review I only had text message contact with this guest pre arrival and a reminder of the check out time on the last day ( just confused )
The house is a very attractive 3 bedroom home. The kitchen is roomy and well equipped. We enjoyed the grill out on the spacious deck and the fire pit on the side of the house. There is plenty of parking space as well. I would definitely rent this property again.
This property is much more than the pictures. Very well kept and spacious. The communication was clear and prompt. We had a little unexpected issue (on our side) for our stay and that turned out to be resolved immediately. Very easy to work with. Great experience and I hope that we were really good renters.
They had put up a Christmas Tree and had lights on the outside of the cabin as well. A very nice surprise since this was our family Christmas. We're from Illinois and had our kids from Iowa & Alabama and one child is local in WI, very near the cabin. Everyone commented on how awesome this cabin is. It was really fantastic!!!!!
We hope to be back!
I would recommend this as a place to stay for anyone looking for a great north woods getaway. The owner was easy to contact & the cabin has everything you need.
Beautiful cottage nested in Wisconsin woods, we had a wonderful time. The property manager was really helpful and responded immediately on any questions we had. Highly recommend thus spot!!!
We had a great time at this cabin. It was clean and comfortable for our group of 6. The lake access is a very short walk away. The manager was very nice and right next door. He responded immediately to our questions. Cabin had A/C which we appreciated for this stay. We rented an outboard for the rowboat and it was all ready to go when we arrived. No beach, but a great sandbar across the bay a short boat ride away. I would recommend this property for a quiet retreat deep into the woods. No WIFI which was just fine with us!
Very suitable, kitchen has decent appliances, plenty of dishes and utensils. If you want to cook with larger pots you should bring them, no blender of that's your need, good coffee pot. The lower level needs a clothing rack or something to hang up clothes. The walk to the dock is longer than expected, one slippery incline if you have someone who is less confident on their feet. The property is attractive inside, and you certainly don't feel that you are surrounded by others. Worthy of your consideration.
We were in the area to visit family and found this property. It fit out size needs and the checking in and out process was very easy. Roy was very communicative. We did not make it down to the lake but it seemed like there was a lot of options for us if we wanted to.
Great place, if your gonna sit inside and be quiet. Property manager is constantly driving through the yard and checking on the place. Can't make much noise without a complaint.

Well seeing as Luke decided to leave a review I will most definitely respond 1 I am not constantly driving through I live next door and I in a closed house could hear this group very loud . And I received a complaint from the other neighbor as well . This group was very poorly behaved upon cleaning we found that someone urinated on the floor in one of the bedrooms. So we had to deal with that as well as this guest bringing more friends than he listed on the reservation and enough that he went over the allowed amount for the house we clearly state no parties in our ad we want all to have a good time but there is a limit
The photo's don't do it justice. Immacualte well maintained property. Perfect for our needs, especially having two bathrooms. The dogs enjoyed chasing the chipmunks. We rented a pontoon boat for 3 days and docked it right there. It would have been nice to have an expanded dock so we could enjoy fishing off the pier as well. Thanks to Roy, & family we hope to return next season.
The cabin was beautiful, clean and well stocked for anything we needed. The patio had a grill and tables perfect for having outdoor BBQ. We loved the secluded location and all the the peace and quite. Had such a great time relaxing, swimming , fishing. A side note that is not a negative about the house but cell reception is extremely spotty in that area. Overall, highly recommend this property for one of the most fun and relaxing trips you’ll have, especially with the Pandemic going on. Roy was very nice and helpful answering all of our questions and provided firewood for our bonfire and a pontoon boat right to our dock.
We love coming to Minocqua, we had a great time at this property celebrating our friends birthdays. House was very nice, plenty of room and had everything we needed for our group of 8. Only cons were no wifi (but who comes up to the north woods for that) and the dock sinks if too many people are on it/you would need to rent a boat if you plan to swim here. But lake access is just a quick 2 minute walk. Property manager Roy is very kind and responsive.
The property was very clean and the short walk to the pier was nice. The property manager was very responsive,-answered all of our questions. We would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful home in the woods. Everything was extremely clean (which we were so grateful for since our 9 month old was crawling all over!). The property manager was nice and quick to respond when we had questions. If you plan to spend a lot of time on the water, the walk to the pier is a bit inconvenient and very uneven, but it did not deter us from spending all day on the boat! It's about a 10 minute brisk walk from the house, but there is a place to park your car if you have a lot of stuff (which we did, since we were fishing). No complaints regarding the house. We had a wonderful weekend!
The house was very clean, and we really enjoyed our stay. Was a short walk to the lake, but was a very nice view when we got there. Plenty of room in the house, and lots of games to keep us entertained.
