Beautiful & spacious Moss Avery Lodge is nestled next to an aspen grove in the hills near Swan Valley & Idaho Falls.

**Winter months (November-March) the road is not steep, but be prepared for winter driving. 4 Wheel drive and/or chains are recommended.**

World famous fishing, biking, four wheeling, boating, snow machining are only a few of the options that are right out your front door. On the inside, you will find 8 bedrooms, 6 1/2 bathrooms, large dining room, fully stocked kitchen, and 2 spacious living rooms with beautiful windows so you can enjoy the view. Some of our favorite local attractions are exploring Swan Valley, boating at Palisades and Ririe Reservoir, eating at Big Jud's in Archer, swimming at Heise and skiing at Kelly Canyon. Shopping in Idaho Falls is only a short 30 min drive, Jackson Hole at a 1hour & 10 minute drive, & Yellowstone is a beautiful 1.30 hour drive.

An excellent property and home for a large group! We stayed here for a family reunion and loved the spacious kitchen, the bunk room, and the grounds where the children played outside for hours. This home had everything we needed. And the hosts were very responsive. The home is remote but we enjoyed the beauty of the scenery and the privacy.

We really enjoyed staying up on the old dry farm area that my wife's family grew up on. We were able to get four generations of family together in one place and enjoy my mother in law's 80th birthday as a group. The house lived up to all of our expectations and we may make this an annual get together. The house was clean and spacious with no traffic noise, no mosquitos, and very little dust.

The property was very nice with comfortable bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. Our only complaint was that the big open room had so much of a sound echo that we had a difficult time hearing one another. We thought perhaps they could put some carpeting on the walls or ceiling to absorb some of the sound. We appreciated the big box of Idaho potatoes they left us as a favor. It was a good experience overall, and I would rent it again.

Another great stay! We have now used this venue two years in a row to host an annual moms' retreat. It's beautiful and functional. We love the venue and the host. Highly recommend for large groups. It's nice to have a variety of sleeping options available for our attendees including some private rooms.

The location of this place is great. You have quiet farm land around. There are big, open spaces throughout the home and outside. Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and not be on top of each other. The home is well maintained and no one complained about the amenities. This was ideal for a family reunion with a big and energetic family.

We loved this place. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful, perfect for our family. We went on walks in the morning, weather was perfect. We used the fire pit outside to cook hot dogs and marshmallows. We loved the big grassy area in front of the house for family games. Downstairs was very cool so we could play ping pong or Pool when we needed to cool down. The kitchen is amazing for large groups. Definitely somewhere we hope to see again.

Awesome Property! Great for big gatherings!!!

This property and the managers are amazing! We had a big family gathering and the house and property fit us all very well. We loved the setting out in the country and the property was big enough to go outside and play all day long, or sit around in the dining room and play games, or play a pool tournament, or hot tub, or sit by the firepit, or... it just goes on. The house is totally renovated and laid out amazing. Plenty of big spaces for large groups, but also plenty of beds and bathrooms. It was also nice to be so close to Idaho Falls so if you forget something you can run into town and get it. Can't say enough good things about this trip. We will definitely be booking here again!

OUTSTANDING STAY AT MOSS AVERY LOSGE

This is a beautiful property that accomidated our familygroup of 16 people perfectly! 4 of our family members were seniors and had no issues moving around. Fun activities such as pool table and ping pong to occupy the little ones. Plenty of space for everyone. Katherine was amazing to work with and had great communication. They even had a welcome gift of potatos waiting for us. I would highly reccommend this property to anyone of any age. Beautiful home with a beautiful view

Family Reunion #14

We loved the property in the beautiful farmland of Eastern Idaho. Many took daily walks up the gravel road. Plenty of beds for all of us and common areas were large enough for all to gather. Kitchen had everything we needed to fix our meals. Double ovens and fridges were awesome. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. We made several trips to the Lovebird Grocery in Ririe where there had everything we had forgotten and treated our grandkids to some hand dipped ice cream. We spent a day at Heise Hot Springs, golfing, eating pizza and enjoying the pools. We enjoyed a musical at the new Center Stage Theater in Idaho Falls and took a drive to Falls Creek Falls and Palisades Reservoir Sunday afternoon. Great family reunion with plenty to do at the house and in the area.

Ideal Retreat Venue

This venue was so beautiful. Many beds and bathrooms and large gathering spaces makes it perfect for a retreat. The kitchen was the most functional and pleasant to cook I of any rental I’ve used. The kitchen had everything we anticipated other than coffee. There are two coffee pots which is helpful to accommodate a large group. I assumed there would be provided coffee which is on me. It was a simple fix. The place was super clean. The large windows let in tons of light during the day and provide a beautiful background to whatever you are doing. It’s in a beautiful place and being able to see that from inside was a delight. As expected, the large dining room is loud when full. Katherine was helpful with answers to my questions before booking and after check-in. All the policies were clearly written and easy to follow. They provide plenty of towels for a large group. We loved having access to a hot tub! Check-in and check-out were a breeze.

Great Large Space

This was the perfect place for our large family. The house was inviting, and Katherine was a great host. Our stay was blessed with a snowstorm which made it a bit difficult to access the property but a someone with a small plow came and cleared the road. They even cleared the large driveway on the property. We aren't sure who did plowing but we were sure grateful for their service. Thank you for the memories.

Peaceful and spacious

This property was perfect for our large group. Most of us felt tranquility as soon as we turned onto Moss Avery Road. The setting was beautiful with all the fall colors and plenty of grass to play on. The home was large, clean, inviting and comfortable. Most importantly, there was a bed for everyone and room to gather in multiple common rooms. Other properties that sleep large groups are lacking in the kitchen and dining areas, but not this place. This home made sense because there was a seat for all during meals and enough fridge space for feeding a crowd. The hot tub was even warm upon arrival so we could start relaxing right away.
