Step back in time and enjoy the Mid-Century appeal with modern day style and amenities. Spread out in this lovely single family ranch house with a large yard in a quiet, secluded neighborhood. It can accommodate up to 6 guests. 2 people per bedroom or each of the two sofas can accommodate one person. Smaller groups can save by not adding the extra 3rd bedroom. There's plenty of space with 2 family rooms, a formal dinning room and full size kitchen. Play games in the large backyard. Sip morning coffee or evening cocktails on the back porch and watch the birds and butterflies play. It's a great spot to replay the days events and plan the next days adventures.
Harbourfest, Neptune Festival, Wine Festival, Children Fest! Enjoy all the fun events here in Coastal Virginia. We're just 1 mile to the relaxing beaches on the bay. Great for floating, swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking because the waves are usually very mild. Our beach is just down Granby Street and has plentiful free parking. Virginia Beach Boardwalk and Oceanfront is 17 miles. Norfolk Waterside and Town Point Park 6 miles away. Walk over to Northside community park with skateboarding, basketball and tennis courts. The indoor swimming pool- has a small per person fee children must be accompanied by an adult. The hours vary.
**There are two (2) assigned off-street parking spots that can be accessed from the back. We will send location and parking info with check-in instructions the day of check-in.
Norma's Place is Centrally located to all Coastal Virginia has to offer. 2 miles to bay beaches, and near East Beach restaurants. 17 miles (25 min drive) to Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Close to Military Bases & hospitals. 45 min to Historic Williamsburg **Ask about adding the extra suite.
**SEVERE WEATHER** though rare, there is always the possibility of a Hurricane or Winter Snow Storm. Snow rarely sticks for more than a day but please note that the property is located on a cul de sac and far off the main corridors that City Plows may never clear the road of snow-you may be snowed in. If there is a threat of snow and you must be mobile we suggest parking your car on a more traveled road for easier exit.
