The hosts Karolina and Carlos are very welcoming and helpful. The cabin is beautiful, in a great location, and was already decorated for the holidays which was a pleasant surprise. There is plenty of activities to do in the cabin and plenty of room to do it. Clean, warm, and welcoming.

Here to attend a wedding with several generations from 3 to 87 years old. Beautiful cabin! Easy to access area and close to everything! We saw a bear walking down the road by our cabin! Grandchildren loved it! Loved the hot tub, basement area. Loved sitting on back porch playing cards! House was clean and everything you need! Be aware there is a lot of stairs! Would recommend this place to everyone of all ages except if you don’t like stairs.

The host was great! They made sure everything was good when we arrived. They were fast to answer my text. The cabin was wonderful! We had a party of 11 and their was plenty of room upstairs if we all wanted to be together or the downstairs was full of fun. We enjoyed our stay. The weather was not very cooperative so we ended up spending more time at the cabin then we thought we would but thank goodness it was very accommodating. The porch was very nice. We grilled out a few times and played cards out on the porch. Plus everyone could be out there at same time to visit. I would visit again with a large party.

We are Carlos and Karolina Galvez, owners of Southern Hospitality Lodge. I am from Peru and my wife is from Switzerland. We met on a Caribbean cruise, married in Alaska and settled in Miami Florida. Over the last 29 years we have been blessed with 3 children, all grown up now, and also with the opportunity to travel all over the world, including the Peruvian Andes and the Swiss Alps. Although we love the sea where we met, we both have a special place in our hearts for our mountains and what they represent. So when we first visited the Smoky Mountains we fell in love with the area as we saw them as a memory of each other’s own culture. It was our dream to one day own a Cabin here as a gathering place for our ever growing family and friends, encouraging them to leave the hustle and bustle of our busy city lives behind and take a “Pause” in our gorgeous Southern Hospitality Lodge

Southern Hospitality Lodge is one of the most beautiful cabins in the Smoky Mountains. We simply love the easy drive, level parking, its spacious rooms, the overall area, close enough ( less than a mile) to enjoy the attractions of the main towns nearby but far enough to relax and enjoy the wilderness and being nestled in the woods. We are enjoying it to the fullest with our family and friends and when not in town, we want to share the same experience with you. What makes this property unique

It is an easy drive on the newly paved road and access from East or West off the Parkway. It is close enough to all the action in Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Gatlinburg but far enough to enjoy the peacefulness, lots of fresh mountain air and surrounding wilderness. It's bright rooms lighten the mood and are a perfect recipe to relax and recharge. There are plenty of choices for grocery shopping along the way or simply have them ordered and ready for you upon your arrival.
