The village is located about 20 km from Świebodzin and Krosno Odrzańskie, is the seat of the Gryżyński landscape park. It is surrounded by Bory Lubuskie forests. North of Gryżyna is the gutter of the Gryżyńskie lakes (the largest lake in Kałek). It is the location of the village, the climatic conditions and the total lack of industry which create unique conditions of rest.
