Wonderful apartment in Central Salamanca

This accomodation exceeded expectations! Spacious, well equiped, perfect location! I would definitely stay here again. Could easily accomodate 8 people. The owner was very helpful, the apartment was spotless, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied.

Amazing apartment and location!!

We were nervous at first about the proximity to the busy square, but the sound was no issue with the windows closed at night. The AC was great and we slept peacefully all week. All the amenities were excellent (showers, kitchen, wifi). This is one of the best rentals we have been in during our 20+ years of renting apartments and houses for conferences and travel.

Without a doubt, the best location in Salamanca. Steps to everything you could possibly want to visit! Our host was extremely welcoming and provided us an excellent tour of the property. The apartment is very modern and well stocked. More room than we could ask for. Highly recommend this home!

This is a clean and very comfortable apartment in an excellent location in the centre of Salamanca - a beautiful Spanish city. We were right on the main pedestrian corridor between the universities and the Plaza Mayor with lots of shops, restaurants and grocery stores nearby, No need for a car. Our host was very kind and attentive. Overall, a great five weeks in Salamanca. Muchas gracias.

En primer lugar, tanto Corinne como María Teresa se comunicaron y nos trataron como una valiosa familia, desde antes de la llegada y durante toda nuestra estancia. El apartamento es moderno, muy limpio, brillantemente distribuido, y perfectamente ubicado dentro de la Plaza del Corrillo, que conduce a la Plaza Mayor de Salamanca, de gran riqueza cultural. La vida diurna y nocturna en este vecindario es segura y agradable, llena de excelente música y actuación, arte y cocina. Aún así, este apartamento 3B cuenta con ventanas dobles que permiten tanta tranquilidad como deseemos. The cultural icons of the castillian education and culture are meters away. We made walks to the river Tormes and the iconic scenes from the bridges, multiple times during our visit. Grocery options abound and the apartment's kitchen is full of modern appliances, all easy to use and clean. Nuestras comunicaciones con los propietarios de la Plaza del Corrillo número 18, 3B, fueron devueltas con prontitud. Su amor por un apartamento tan familiar era evidente. Y el alojamiento de nuestra familia fue insuperable. Fabulous!

I stayed here with my husband, brother and sister-in-law over Easter. The apartment is wonderful: clean, comfortable, very spacious, high value to cost, plenty of supplies. We were able to see the Easter processions in the Plaza below. The property is close to the entire historical district in Salamanca. It is also close to several grocery stores. Everything was communicated effectively at check in. Highly recommend.

Días muy agradables en el centro histórico

La casa está muy bien en todo: limpia , bien equipada y bien preparada para alojar a 8 personas. Como punto a mejorar pensamos que tendrían que poner ganchos en los baños para colgar las toallas y percheros para los abrigos en los cuartos. Respecto a la situación del piso tiene una ubicación excelente, pero al encontrarse en plena zona peatonal hay que tener cuidado con el coche, ya que casi nos multa la policía por llegar hasta la zona próxima que nos indicó la responsable de gestionar la vivienda , y eso a pesar de haber cumplido exactamente con las instrucciones (calles a seguir) que nos dio en persona el día anterior. La policía nos dijo que ella era la responsable de solicitar un permiso especial para acceder a la zona el día de llegada y otro para el día de partida.

I have to say this may have been one of my favorite VRBO stays and I have been from Prague to Guam. There is not one thing I would change about this apartment: location, quality, cleanliness, location, etc. Do not pass on this amazing apartment! There is none better.

A very pleasant month

We stayed for one month in this flat with a family of five. The apartment is conveniently located and it is in fabulous condition. The important factor for us was having a home away from home that was spacious enough for three busy boys. We highly recommend staying here if you anyone looking for an apartment in a great location and is very comfortable.

Lovely apartment, lovely city!!!

18 Plaza Carillo is a gem of a place. The pictures don’t do it justice. Sparkling clean, super close to everything. Corinne and Maria Teresa are delights to work with. If you're coming to visit this special city you have to stay here. We were a family of 5 (mom&dad, 2 teenagers and our abuela), we had plenty of space and enjoyed our time here immensely.

Trotz einer flugbedingt späten Anreise mitten in der Nacht wurden wir vor Ort sehr warmherzig von Maria Teresa aufgenommen. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür. Es ist eine tolle und saubere Wohnung im Herzen von Salamanca, in der es uns als 7-köpfige Familie mit erwachsenen Kindern an nichts gefehlt hat. Ein besonderes Erlebnis waren die vielfältigen Eindrücke der jungen und lebendigen Stadt, die wir u.a. im Zuge der Feierlichkeiten zum 800-jährigen Bestehen der Universität hautnah erleben durften.
