About this property
Walk to river, trails, pubs! Great house best location by hiking, biking, SUPing
Awesome house! NO EXCUSE to not come stay & play in Bend, Oregon, which always has the best outdoor activities and less crowds. Text me if you have ?'s at 541-350-7111.
Big yard, decks, super clean and peaceful. Walk to 2 different gorgeous waterfront trail/park systems.
Super close to all the best pubs, restaurants, music and art festivals, downtown, Drake Park, the Old Mill and Box Factory shopping, fine and casual dining areas, and Hayden Homes Amphitheater.
5-minute bike ride to Phil's Trail world-class mountain biking. 5 minutes to downtown, Old Mill Ctr, 10 Barrel, Cascade Lakes Brewery, Portello Wine Bar, Deschutes River, paddle boarding, and hiking trails galore!
This bright, sunny, comfortable, Westside Bend home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, great room with a large open kitchen, dining, and living room area, with front and back outside decks and BBQ.
My house truly is in one of the best locations in Bend -- especially if you're into skiing, snow-shoeing, biking, hiking, golfing, fishing, kayaking, floating, have a dog you're bringing, and taking part in the ambiance and activities you can do in and around the Deschutes River..
There's a very special feeling you get when you walk in my house. It just FEELS GOOD when you're here. It feels peaceful and even healing, and it also feels festive. Plus, there's tons of nature and wildlife around my house.
The big, open spaces and the way the windows stream light in and at night my lighting makes this house magical. It sits above the other houses, which makes you feel like trees and blue sky is all around you, and the snow coming down is so wonderful to watch.
The front deck off the great room has a patio dining table and chairs with BBQ for evening meals in the warm sun and gorgeous sunsets. Backyard has a larger patio table and more chairs, with tons of morning sunshine for coffee and breakfast turning into shade midday for comfortable outdoor dinners and cool bedroom sleeping. Plus the house has central A/C. Backyard has a fence that helps keep your furry babies from wandering, and lots of grass on the large side-yard.
3 bedrooms with high-end luxury beds: Master bedroom has California King Tempur-Pedic bed, 2nd bedroom has queen Molecule bed, 3rd bedroom has two twin Beautyrest beds.
Large Japanese soaking tub in the Master bathroom is a peaceful and relaxing treat after a fun day of all the amazing outdoor sports, dining and entertainment Bend is so famous for.
And if you bring a 4-legged furry baby, it's an 10 minute walk to Good Dog Dog Park, the largest (gorgeous) off-leash trail park in Bend that goes down to the river. Also a 7 minute walk to the BEST hike along the Deschutes River Trail where you walk or run right next to the Deschutes River the ENTIRE time! It's all so stunning!! I'm happy to give you the local's insider scoop on all these cool things to do in Bend or just leave you to explore, play, and relax on your own.
I'm not a runner but one of my guests said there is a lot of trail running down Haul Road through Mt. Bachelor Village to the Deschutes river trail.
Wanoga sledding park (winter) / Wanoga mountain biking (summer) is a10 minute drive from my (large) garage. I highly recommend riding Tiddlywinks and Funner trails from the Wanoga parking lot. (Don't tell the locals I told you!)
Enjoy!
"Perfect location, perfect home and a perfect host. Beautiful, friendly and quiet neighborhood. Only one stop sign between you and Mt. Bachelor. Quick, easy drive up to the resort and close to great restaurants and shopping. HUGE two car garage that accommodated our Toyota Sequoia with our Thule ski box attached to the roof! A huge plus that allowed us to pull into the garage each night and keep our truck out of the elements, as it snowed several times during our stay. Our host Elin was wonderful. She checked in on us after our arrival to see if we arrived OK and if we needed anything. Her home was immaculately clean, well appointed with linens, towels and additional pillows. The beds were super comfortable and the bedrooms offered lots of storage options for our luggage. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, dish and flatware, an Instapot, rice cooker and electric kettle and coffee maker. Thank you for sharing your home with our family."
