Magnificent property comprising house with heated swimming pool and sheepfold

This magnificent property is located on the plateau overlooking the very pretty village of Bonnieux.
In the middle of holm oaks, wild thyme, rosemary and lavender, in a park of more than 1 hectare you will have a main house with 8 beds, having a large awning overlooking the swimming pool with outdoor lounge, dining room. outdoor dining with barbecue.
In front of the swimming pool a very pretty small sheepfold in stone allowing 4 additional beds and two stone bories.
The main house has 4 bedrooms, very large living room with dining room and kitchen, 3 bathrooms and 2 separate WCs.
The stone sheepfold allows 4 duplex beds and has its sink and toilet. It is ideal for children, teenagers or a couple of friends. It is located just on the other side of the swimming pool in a magnificent stone enclosure also comprising 2 stone bories typical of the region.
You can also enjoy an illuminated pétanque court in the evening, a ping pong table and a badminton court.

You will be in the heart of a tourist region, you will be able to discover the Luberon regional park with its magnificent small villages like Lourmarin or Gordes, the very large cedar forest (the largest in Europe), the Buoux cliffs or the Provencal canyon from Roussillon, the many renowned restaurants in the region, the various festivals or votive celebrations, all within less than half an hour from the property.

You will be greeted by the owner of the estate who can introduce you to a rosé wine from the Luberon aop produced by him in the region.

Amazing holiday

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was great, with easy access to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The host was responsive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommend!

Vraiment chouette maison pour s’y retrouver avec des amis et de la famille, emplacement vraiment incroyable ! Les plus: emplacement à côté de Bonnieux, accès au village par le GR de la maison en 20 minutes à pied, sublimes espaces de vie (le flow piscine, cuisine, salon, salle à manger…), grandes tables pour 10 personnes, super plancha et BBQ, très grand terrain de plus de 4 hec, très calme et privé, espaces jeux (badminton, ping pong, pétanque…), pas trop de moustiques (ce qui est génial pour la Provence!!!)… Les petits watch-outs: la bergerie est un peu roots, on le savait (pas mal de petits insectes, mouches etc…), les salles d eau ne sont pas super dingues (salle de bain du haut a une très très petite douche et lavabo) un petit peu en décalage avec le prix/standing du reste de la maison. La cuisine est équipé de manière basique, il faudrait vraiment un deuxième frigo quand on est 10 personnes pour les boissons! Donner des plus grandes serviettes. Seulement 2 petites par personne! Nous on venez des États Unis c était un peu juste, j ai du en acheter en plus :-) On reviendra c’est sur !!!

We loved our stay at this house just outside of Bonnieux. It was very amenable to vacationing with a larger group, with a nice seating area near the pool and a long dining room table. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was key given the extreme temperatures during our stay. Ping pong, boules, and the pool were all fun with a crowd, it should be noted that pool towels were not provided. Christophe was super responsive and very friendly. The sheepfold, which has 2 beds, was more rustic than we imagined and may not be suitable for everyone.

Calme et beauté

Très grande propriété naturellement arboré située à l'extrémité d'une voie sans issue à l'abri des regards indiscrets. Maison vaste à la décoration soignée où l'on s'y sent bien. Dépendances de toute beauté abritant une table de ping-pong non abimée et au delà de la piscine, elle aussi bien entretenue, un filet de badminton et un VRAI terrain de pétanque. En résumé, de belles prestations pour passer un agréable séjour.

We were a group of four men on a cycling holiday. Christopher’s villa was ideally situated for our exploration of the Luberon. We particularly enjoyed our evening meals gathered around the pool and the quiet of the villa’s setting.

Lovely vacation home.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. Plenty of room for relaxing - really enjoyed chilling around the pool. Great location for exploring the area and can walk to town along quiet roads and path. Rented e-bikes in town - a great way to visit neighbouring towns.

Großzügiges Haus in ruhiger Lage

Prestations inferieures

Conforme à la description, le jardin est beau, la piscine agréable et l’environnement calme. En revanche, l’accueil, les prestations à l’intérieur de la maison et la relation client sont loin d'être en accord avec ce prix. Nous sommes arrivés 1h30 plutôt qu’annoncé. Je téléphone et je suis accueilli par un « mais je travaille moi ! je ne pourrais pas venir avant 17h30 ». A la prise de possession des lieux, l’assistante n’a cessé de nous répéter qu’elle avait dû annuler son weekend pour nous remettre les clés. La première chose qui frappe lorsque l’on s’approche de la terrasse et de la porte d’entrée qui donne sur la cuisine, c’est l’odeur émanant de la fosse sceptique. Cette odeur pestilentielle est encore plus forte dans la chambre adjacente. Mon neveux et ma nièce qui occupaient cette chambre avec leur enfant de 11 mois, déciderons d’abréger leur séjour ne supportant plus l’odeur. Nous suivrons. Il a plu et nous avons trouvé des flaques d’eau dans le salon, l’eau ruisselant d’abord en continue le long du poêle, avant que d’autres fuites se multiplient au fil des heures créant un rideau de pluie séparant la cuisine du salon. Nous avons donc sorti serpillères, sceaux et baignoire d’enfant pour contenir l’eau, et fait en sorte que le bébé de 11 mois n’aille pas jouer dans les flaques. Prévenu de l'incident, la réponse du propriétaire fut « pourtant je l’ai fait réparer deux fois, ils n’ont pas du trouver les fuites », pour enchaîner « bon de toute façon, dans le Luberon en été il pleut rarement ». Nous nous attendions plutôt à "je suis désolé pour cet inconvénient". Mais non. Côte chambres, les interrupteurs, les plafonniers et les prises de courants sont montés en série de sorte que lorsque vous éteignez la lumière, le courant n’alimente plus les prises. Impossible de recharger les téléphones dans les chambres. La cuvette de douche dans la salle d’eau partagée du première étage est à ce point petite, que le jet de douche atterrît en dehors du bac. Vous pouvez vous rincer en prenant la pomme de douche à la main mais vous ne pouvez pas prendre de douche. Le mitigeur ne marche pas. Vous avez donc le choix entre vous rincer à l’eau trop chaude ou trop froide. Nous avons trouvé deux bols sales, des paquets de nourriture entamée dans les placard ainsi que des bouteilles de ketchup et mayonnaise dans le frigo. Et bien sur aucun mot d'excuse du propriétaire malgré nos déboires. Choquant.

Merveilleux séjour!

Nous garderons un merveilleux souvenir de notre séjour. La maison est très belle, spacieuse et bien équipée. Elle aussi idéalement située pour visiter les plus beaux villages du Luberon. Le propriétaire est très disponible. Un sans faute !

Séjour du 4 au 18 juillet 2020

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette belle et grande propriété. Christophe c'est montré très serviable et accueillant. La piscine est superbe et les terrasses couverte agréable. Depuis la maison et ces extérieures un jeux d'éclairage nocturne mais en valeur les arbres et l'ancienne bergerie en pierre naturelle. C'est très agréable à l'heure du diner en été. Les chambres sont simple et fonctionnelles, les salles de bain et douche agréable et le séjour de bonne taille. La maison est fraiche naturellement et c'est appréciable en été.Un terrain de pétanque éclairé agrémente la propriété. La cuisine est grande et fonctionnelle, il manque peut-être un ou deux plats de présentations, mais pour le reste les appareils électroménager sont correct (four, réfrigérateur , congélateur , machine a café type Nespresso, etc.). Nous avons eu un seul regret, la propriété étant tellement grande, elle n'est que partiellement clôturée. Malheureusement notre chien n'a pas pu rester en liberté, celui-ci étant attiré par les nombreuses pistes de cette propriété d'environ 3ha de terrain. Je ne peux que recommander cette location pour des vacances dans le Luberon.
