Nestled in the heart of Downtown Saratoga Springs, this large and beautifully renovated home offers the perfect mix of comfort & space, with a modern farmhouse style, and convenience to the center of town. Just a 5-minute stroll from the middle of Broadway (The main street in Saratoga), the property is ideally located for exploring downtown's eclectic dining, shopping, and nightlife. Whether you're in town for the Saratoga Racetrack, a concert at (SPAC) Saratoga Performing Arts Center, or just a getaway, this super spacious home is your ideal retreat. It is one of only a few homes that offers a massive open floor plan which will allow for large groups and families to cook, socialize and eat while being together yet not on top of one another. This is very rare in a home this close to the center of Saratoga’s vibrant social, shopping, and dining scene.
The owners remodeled, manage and maintain the home themselves, so there is a lot of attention to the details, especially cleanliness. We really strive to make our home as enjoyable and comfortable for our guests as it is for us. We want you to enjoy a home away from home.
The Home & Layout
This charming 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home, built in the 1860s, has been thoughtfully remodeled over five years to create a stylish, airy atmosphere. It features a spacious great room that seamlessly combines the living, dining, and kitchen areas, all with soaring ceilings that amplify the open feel, along with a giant 10-foot kitchen island perfect for gathering. The first-floor master bedroom offers a luxurious retreat with a large walk-in shower for ultimate privacy and convenience. Additional amenities include off-street parking, two covered porches, and a fenced backyard equipped with a BBQ grill, fire pit, and plenty of space for both relaxing and entertaining. The master suite and three additional bedrooms are thoughtfully situated away from the main living areas, ensuring a peaceful escape for guests while others enjoy socializing, offering both privacy and comfort for everyone.
Bedrooms: (4 total)
The master bedroom is located on the first floor with a separate ensuite full bathroom including a walk-in shower. While not necessarily wheelchair accessible it is great for those with mobility issues like difficulty going up and downstairs. We designed it this way on purpose for me (the owner) who has very bad knees.
3 bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor. This includes 2 queen beds and 1 double bed.
Each room has a spacious closet and bedside tables complete with USB plugs and easy access outlet access for charging.
Bathrooms:
3 full bathrooms (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap provided)
2 of the full bathrooms are located on the 1st floor and one on the 2nd floor.
2 walk in showers, and 1 bathtub with shower.
Kitchen:
Fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, Keurig, drip coffee, blender, microwave ice making refrigerator and everything you need to cook a meal, plus dishwasher and laundry facilities.
Living Areas:
The open, airy living and dining rooms feature an extra-large sectional couch, a smart TV, and ample space for everyone to gather comfortably without feeling crowded. A bonus living room adds even more space for games or additional relaxation, enhancing the overall sense of openness and flexibility in the home.
Outdoor Space:
The fenced backyard offers a BBQ grill, fire pit, and plenty of space for lawn games, making it an ideal setting for outdoor fun and relaxation.
The patio, complete with comfortable seating, is perfect for enjoying outdoor meals or simply unwinding.
Despite being located downtown, the space provides a serene and private retreat, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle while still being close to all the action.
Guest Access & Amenities
The entire home and private backyard are yours to enjoy during your stay. We offer off-street parking for 3 cars, and the property is just a short walk to all of Saratoga's best attractions, including:
5 - minute walk to Beekman Street Arts District
5 - minute walk to Broadway
20 - minute walk (or 5-minute drive) to the Saratoga Racetrack
1 mile to Skidmore College and 2 miles to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center
Easy access to the Railroad trail, which gives direct access to SPAC and Saratoga state park.
Other Things to Note
While the home is perfect for family gatherings, we do ask that you respect the peaceful nature of the area. Our guest limit is 8, but if you have something special in mind, feel free to reach out before booking-there have been many times we've made exceptions for weddings, wedding prep days and a variety of family gatherings. We do not allow bachelor parties, or parties unknown individuals. There is a separate, private apartment attached to the property, but it has its own separate entrance and does not share any space with guests. There are exterior security cameras on the outside of the house.
We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible, so feel free to reach out with any special requests or questions about the space!
