About this property

Rija Land, a rural retreat in Bucovina Mountains

Our property, situated in the heart of Bucovina, includes gorgeous woodlands, pastures and a creek. The spacious wooden home provides 6 private rooms and a large lounge area for all our guests.

Rija Land has been family owned and operated for over 150 years. The new wooden home on the property was completed in 2019. It provides accommodation for 12 adults and their children in 6 rooms located on the second floor of the building. 4 rooms have double beds and own bathrooms, while the other 2 rooms have twin beds and a shared bathroom.

The ground floor of the house offers plenty of leisure space in the generous lounge + dining room, surrounded by a sunny terrace. Our guests have access to a large, fully equipped kitchen.

Staying with us offers some unique advantages, due to our working farm situated within walking distance – organic produce is readily available in season; apples and gooseberries from the orchard, vegetables from the garden, milk and cheese from our cows and fresh eggs from our own chickens.

A piece of heaven on earth

The cabin was perfect for our family reunion of 8 from USA, Canada and Moldova. It was a great location for sightseeing or just staying at the house. We enjoyed visiting monasteries, hiking mountains, swinging in the sky. We enjoyed at home the fresh milk, homemade cheeses, sour cream, the kindest hospitality and watching the happiest cows on earth jumping with joy across mountainside. A piece of heaven on earth that we hope to come back one day. Thank you Razvan and family for the wonderful stay.
