Chateauret Bed & Breakfast

Located in the heart of France, the central massif and the breathtaking landscapes of the Corrèze, are the ideal place for your holidays in nature. Chateauret is a place called the town of Espagnac, a peaceful but very friendly village known in the region for its 'Saturday evening meals' during the summer.

Our barn was completely renovated between 2008 and 2011 with a new part which allows 11-13 people to stay there, all rooms have showers and WC. There is a very large living room on the first floor, the ceiling of which lets you admire the oak frame. The entrances open on one side to the swimming pool and the pond and on the other to the woods. Comfortable sofas, discreet light fixtures and a wood stove offer you a place where you can relax in all seasons. There is also a library with games, magazines as well as tourist information and many maps
The two hectare park with a superb swimming pool and a pond, is a quiet place conducive to relaxation. There are seats and hammocks everywhere, everywhere you can read, paint or fish. Our pond has a lot of fish, fishing rods and other equipment can be rented, only for our customers (the reservation of the material is done with the reservation of the rooms). The swimming pool is 9m by 4.5m, with a wooden pontoon which overlooks the pond, towels are offered. For your comfort, deckchairs, cushions and blankets are available. A fire place, fueled by the wood of the property in spring and during the fall allows you to admire the Milky Way and the stars comfortably installed. There are also games outside.

In the morning, a continental breakfast will be served with tea or coffee in the dining room or on the terrace with a selection of pastries, bread and cold meats. In the evening you can have a full table d'hôte meal with wine. All meals are cooked with us using local and fresh ingredients.

The Corrèze is a real paradise for lots of activities: cycling, kayaking, walking, horse riding, climbing and canoeing down the Dordogne. Most of these activities are thirty minutes from Chateauret and the beautiful Gimel waterfalls are twenty minutes

We are 30 minutes from the picturesque town of Argentat on the Dordogne river and Tulle, the capital of Corrèze, is 30 minutes from us.
