About this property

Former bakery restored to a cottage, lots of charm, rural location

Welcome to La Boulangerie, a comfortable cottage for five people. Vintage bakery of the Ferme des Kerdes, the cottage still has its bread oven that works as a fireplace for the living / dining room. The kitchen is equipped with a small dishwasher and a washing machine. The bathroom with WC is also on the ground floor.
On the first floor are three bedrooms for five people - one with double bed, one with two single beds, and the last with a single bed. There is also a separate WC with sink upstairs.
The Bakery is independent from the other buildings of Ferme des Kerdes and separated by a large hedge, which ensures privacy for our tenants. The cottage has a large garden in front, and a smaller garden behind which overlooks the neighboring fields. A barbecue and garden furniture are provided for your comfort. Your animals are welcome.

zum zweiten Mal

Wir hatten wieder einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Kleinere Probleme hat der freudliche Vermieter sofort erledigt. Das alte Häuschen hat viel Charme und einen schönen eingezäunten Garten, für unseren Hund ideal. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft

Eine einfache, aber besondere gemütliche Unterkunft. Es ist alles da was man braucht, die Ruhe ist einfach unschlagbar. Wir träumen auch 1/2 Jahr später noch von diesem Urlaub. Wer das originelle und einfache im Urlaub liebt, ist hier richtig. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, wenn die Wellt die es zu entdecken gilt nicht so groß wäre. Aber man weiß ja nie....

Authentisches Häuschen in ehemaliger Bäckerei

Gemütlich eingerichtet, alles da, sehr ruhig und trotzdem günstig gelegen. Super für den Hund, großes Grundstück komplett eingezäunt. Super netter und unkomplizierter deutschsprachiger Vermieter.

Gite au calme bien placé pour découvrir la Manche

Gite bénéficiant de tout le nécessaire pour passer un séjour agréable dans un environnement au calme. Literie et sanitaire très correctes et cuisine fonctionnelle pour 3 adultes que nous étions. Jardin avec terrasse apprécié pour des déjeuners au soleil. Bonne base de départ pour découvrir la Manche. Nous reviendrons.

Hübsches zweckmäßiges Haus.Ordendlich eingerichtet.Die Matratzen in den Betten könnten besser sein.aber das hat man in französischen Ferienhäusern leider öfters.Gutes WLAN und deutsche Fernsehprogramme.Alles sauber und sehr nette und freundliche Gastgeber.Würde ich wieder buchen.

Séjour très reposant non loin des plages

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette ancienne boulangerie. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Sophie et son mari. Nous avons apprécié le calme de la maison, qui est entourée de champs; nous avons même surpris des biches un jour que nous rentrions de visite. De plus , la maison est à proximité des plages et des villes où pouvoir faire des courses. En un mot, notre séjour a été parfait.

C'est un petit paradis tout calme!

C'était un séjour fantastique. La maison avec son jardin clos était idéale pour nous 4 et notre chienne. L'équipement n'est pas super chic et neuf, mais ceci ne nous dérangeait pas du tout. Le calme que l'on retrouve est tout simplement magique! Sophie et Stéphane sont très sympathiques!

Sejour très agréable dans ce petit cottage bucolique et proche de magnifiques plages de sable fin. Sophie et Stephan sont charmants et très à l'écoute de leurs hôtes. Belle cheminée issue de la reconversion d'un authentique four à pain. Une belle expérience au calme dans une magnifique région à découvrir...

une maison simple et agréable

Un très bon séjour, calme royal, combiné à une bonne literie. Il a manqué le fait-tout à homard, nous aurions pu le demander au propriétaire très sympa, mais une amie nous l'a amené pour la soirée. La présence du Weber nous a permis quelques grillades au top. Bref cette location est inscrite sur nos tablettes !

au calme charmant et cosy

L'emplacement et les environs sont top ! Nous avons passé un bon séjour. Petite remarque, il faut tenir compte qu'il s'agit d'un petit gîte et que l'étage est un grenier aménagé à hauteur limitée sous la toiture. Pour les grandes personnes il faut faire attention à cette caractéristique charmante mais qui limite le confort à l'étage surtout pour le dos.

Lovely base for a long-weekend

This was a long-weekend to celebrate a birthday and we were looking for somewhere within an hour of the ferry for the 2 of us. Denneville and the Old Bakery fitted the bill perfectly. The beach - and especially the ‘bac a sable’ at Lindebergh plage - was lovely and very easy to get to. The Old Bakery was charming and Stephan and Sophie were very helpful and welcoming. The accomodation and facilities were what you would expect from the listing and any gripes we had were pretty minor and almost certainly because we chose to visit so early in the ‘season’. We enjoyed our short stay and would be very happy to come back. We would (and already have!) recommend it to friends and family looking for a similar break.
