The surf club is the perfect location for a complete family vacation, including grandparents, adult children, and grandchildren.

Great Property at Marriott Surf Club

This was my 4th time staying at the Marriott Surf Club. It’s a beautiful property and a perfect location on the beach and to the town. There are so many restaurants nearby and I always feel it’s very safe. They have a great gym and many activities for family. The pools and lazy river are fantastic.The only negative I have ever experienced in the past & again this trip was trying to get a lounge chair by the pool or beach. They really have so many and multiple pools but some sections are more popular than others. It’s crazy and the guests get up at the crack of dawn to sit in their chairs to reserve their spot for the day. They have started to employ more rules for the guests to follow in comparison to years prior to cut down on the selfishness. It’s still a negative situation but if you get up early and follow rules you can get chairs together. Guests can be nasty to one another & I don’t like that ever, let alone on vacation. I also felt that this time, unlike in the past, many employees were not the normal “Aruba friendly.” Overall the property is beautiful and Marriott appears to be trying to find solutions with the new pool rules & reservations for a beach palapa. We love it & will definitely stay again.
