Just look up and you'll understand the name BlueViewRetreat. It's our homage to the 300+ days of sunny blue skies (a.k.a. bluebird days) that Colorado boasts annually. At night, the unobstructed blue skies darken and become your own personal planetarium.

Every detail has been carefully and meticulously arranged to be sure you have what you need for a perfect Colorado experience. The home reflects years of experience facilitating guest visits.

The discounted cleaning fee ensures that the house and hot tub have been professionally cleaned, sanitized and disinfected to CDC guidelines prior to your arrival. We only ask that you tidy up after yourself while you're staying in our house.

KITCHEN >>>>>>
The open floor plan has a wide plank hardwood floor and features a large KITCHEN equipped with high end Bosch stainless steel appliances, solid quartz counter tops, natural stone tile backsplash and stainless steel apron sink. The cabinets are packed with matching dinnerware, silverware, glasses and cookware.

The front of the house has floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the scenery. Banquette seating flanks the salt and pepper shaker chess set and gives you a perfect spot to take in the lake views with your morning coffee. Even in the kitchen you'll always be a part of the party!

DINING >>>>>>
The DINING AREA has a rustic exotic wood harvest table with 8 leather chairs plus 4 metal counter stools if you want to keep the cook(s) company.

PRIVATE PATIO with PRIVATE HOT TUB >>>>>>
A couple French doors provides access to the covered BACK PATIO with a Vermont Castings natural gas grill and the burgeoning large rock garden. There is second open flame gas log fireplace with floor to ceiling rock surround with Sunbrella patio sofa and chair. The ten privacy evergreen trees were added and the patio was expanded to accommodate the PRIVATE HOT TUB. The backyard opens up to open space connecting to the miles of community HIKING TRAILS.

GREAT ROOM >>>>>>
The GREAT ROOM allows for a large open area perfect for congregating with friends and/or family. The floor to ceiling natural stone fireplace has a 65" HDTV Smart TV with Dish Network HD programming,. A granite table has been specifically set up for 1 of many available possible puzzle projects or remote working/learning. The 52" round swivel chair is the perfect spot to cuddle up with a book. I personally think it takes advantage of all the best views in the house. The large sectional and additional seating provide enough seating for 10 or more to enjoy the A/V entertainment, picturesque views or the company you brought with you!

BATHROOMS >>>>>>
This two-level floor plan enables the residents ample privacy with each of the 3 of the 4 bedrooms with its own ensuite BATHROOM. The fourth bedroom has the bathroom just outside the door. The bathrooms all have unique tile, solid surface counter top, private privy rooms, showers with bench seating, frameless shower doors and dual sinks.

PRIMARY ENSUITE BEDROOM >>>>>>
The main floor bedroom has 2-11' wide windows with electric solar shades and room-darkening drapes overlooking that burgeoning rock garden and a sliding glass door with access to the backyard patio and hot tub. The comfy hybrid king sized bed provides a serene sleep. The subtle western accents and transitional style blend clean lines with rustic Killm pillows.

SECOND ENSUITE BEDROOM or DEN >>>>>
A large 2ND ENSUITE/BEDROOM is down the hall and has a modern leather sofa aimed straight at the 11' window with solar shade and room darkening drapes with the Lower Blue Valley views including the Lake House hot tubs, sandy beach on Lake Everist and the newly constructed observatory. The thick queen bed is tucked away in a high-end custom Murphy Bed frame with every bell and whistle. It can easily convert from one function to another for sleeping or relaxing.

CENTRAL STAIRWELL HALL >>>>>>
The hall has a large POWDER ROOM. The large windows overlooking the back yard or stairwell downstairs with gorgeous mountain views. The ENTRY has a front porch with a wrought iron bistro set overlooking Lake Everist.

GARAGE >>>>>>
The Ground Floor has weathered wood wide plank tile 'wood' flooring and access to the 2 CAR HEATED GARAGE.

LAUNDRY >>>>>>
The LAUNDRY ROOM has full-sized LG steam washer/dryer & utility sink.

THIRD ENSUITE BEDROOM >>>>>>
The bedroom wing offers another primary ENSUITE/BEDROOM with a King sized bed and the same beautiful views as upstairs with another 11' window complete with solar shade and room darkening drapes. There is also a twin sized day bed.

Queen/Queen BEDROOM has 2 queen sized queen beds. Another FULL BATH is just outside the door. The 2 children's portable beds are in bedroom closets.

FIFTH SLEEPING AREA OR FAMILY ROOM >>>>>>
A thick curtain will provide privacy in a high-end memory foam leather sleeper sofa, 60" smart TV with Dish Network programming and seating for at least 5-6 for a second gathering area.

The final few homes of neighborhood construction activity is concentrated in another area away from our house and should not impact your access or enjoyment. I'm happy to share current pictures or video

******COVID 19 INFORMATION: We are following all the guidelines and recommendations to ensure the home has been properly cleaned, sanitized AND disinfected. You'll also notice a few decorating changes from our listing pictures such as decorative pillows, throws and extra bedding, etc have been removed to ensure cleaning. The cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing protocols and products have been adhered to ensuring the house is a healthy environment for you and your family.

The Community Amenities offer unlimited access during these hours (subject to change) as follows.

As of June 1, 2021, guests of Summit Sky rental properties have access to a variety of Summit Sky amenities including the private hiking trails, Lake House on the community owned Lake Everist, private fishing waters, and the Aspen House outdoor heated pool and community hot tubs. To access the pool and hot tubs during available hours, please come to the front door of the Aspen House and ring the bell to check in with a clubhouse attendant!

Guests have access to all the amenities at the Aspen House. Home reservation does not guarantee availability. Outdoor activities such as trails and Blue River access are always available.
