Lovely Visit on the Lake in the Mountains
The house is in a terrific location, not too high above a quiet cove. We enjoyed the path around the lake and the water toys. We kayaked/paddle boarded everyday. The Connestee trails are close , beautiful and well maintained. When we weren’t up for an activity, sitting on the deck was very peaceful. Wi-Fi was not an issue and allowed my daughter to work while she watched the deer wander. Access to the club allowed us to golf, swim and eat close by.
The house was spotless and up to date. Beds, linens, towels all very nice. We had an issue with the back door but the owner had someone there to fix it the same day at a time that worked for us. We had two minor concerns that we thought the listing could have disclosed more clearly. First, the primary bedroom on the main floor has limited storage space and the en-suite bathroom also opens to the kitchen. Secondly, the steps to the 2 upstairs bedroom are very steep. Since it was only my husband, myself and our adult children it wasn’t an issue. But it would have been a problem if my older sister came for a few days as originally planned.
Again, we spent a month here and loved it. Lindsay was very responsive and accommodating. Enjoy your stay.
