We had the most incredible girls weekend here and truly didn’t want to leave. The views alone are worth the stay—absolutely spectacular from morning to sunset, creating such a peaceful and grounding backdrop for the entire trip. The home is quiet and private, and it feels like a true retreat from the moment you arrive. Each room is beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and has a luxurious feel that made our stay even more special. The patio space was perfect for gathering, relaxing, and soaking in the scenery together, and the entire environment invites you to slow down and simply enjoy. The surrounding area is just as lovely, with plenty to explore while still maintaining that calm, tucked-away feel. This is one of those rare places that exceeds expectations—we would come back in a heartbeat.
We needed a getaway for a few days. This mountain house was the perfect retreat to recharge and enjoy nature. Property was clean, neighborhood was quiet and the views are incredible!!

House could use some updating Had minor difficulty in locating house; directions could have been more accurate (one driveway services two separate homes)Wonderful gated community; 2nd stay at this developmentWonderful access to great state forests and town of Brevard and easy drive to Asheville aiportWill return to this development in summer
This house had everything we needed in the kitchen and the views are breathtaking! Easy to work with and extremely clean. Will visit again.

Beautiful
This home was absolutely beautiful with amazing views. My friends and I had a great time visiting the Pretty Place Chapel. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. The home was very clean and had that cozy feeling as soon as you walk in the door. Would definitely be staying here again on our next friend's vacay.
Overall a great place to stay, good summer view that would be even better in winter, plenty of room, split plan, nice fireplace, but tight steep driveway that others may not enjoy. I do wish the house had a covered(rain) and screened(bugs) porch.
Our family of 5 enjoyed this property. The lay out allowed everyone to have their own personal space. The house was well equipped for cooking and doing laundry on site. The driveway is narrow but my Yukon XL did just fine. I would recommend this property if you are looking for something in this area.

Trash
The view and everything about the house was wonderful. The only problem we saw was no where to take your trash on Sunday when you check out. The trash can outside were already full so we had to drive for hours to take our trash off.
Great place but getting there and inside is tricky
We really enjoyed the home. It was very clean and well appointed. Out only issue was that we arrived late in the evening due to a delayed flight and the place was very hard to find. Google maps is misleading and the instructions weren’t clear (at least to us). When we found the place, it took 20 minutes to get the lock box open so we could get inside, warm up and go to bed.

Driveway access is a joke. Very old house and it shows. Multiple lights did not work. Dead bugs on window sills. Super small kitchen and one drawer would not open unless you opened the dishwasher door first. Microwave light not working. Hodgepodge of utensils. Lights above dining room table are so dim, like eating in the dark. Actually ate dinner by flashlight twice. Family room floor very obviously sloping/sinking. Came back from a hike/shopping day to find thermostat set to 60 and temperature at 62 inside the house while outside temp was 29. Took hours to warm up.I would not stay here again.

We always appreciate hearing from our guests, but the homeowner would like to take a moment to clarify a few things raised in your review:- We didn’t hear from you during your stay—had we known about these concerns, we would’ve done our best to take care of them right away.- We’ve addressed the cleaning comments with our team to ensure areas like window sills and lighting are being checked more thoroughly between each stay.- There are extra bulbs in the home for guest use, but we’ll also be updating the dining room lighting to make that space feel brighter and more comfortable.- We’re having the thermostat checked to make sure it’s working properly, and we’re not sure about the reference to a sloping floor, as no details were provided and we’ve never received similar feedback—but we’ll take a closer look to be safe. Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.
This was probably one of the best homes that I have stayed in. We came for the fall colors and wow, just wow. The minute you walk in the door the view from the living room is just beyond words. House was clean, fully stocked, beds were super comfortable, everything was just perfect and staying in Connestee Falls was an extra bonus. They have everything that you could ask for. Hiking trails, Pickleball, tennis, Clubhouse, and more. We even went to a buffet and a trivia night right in the community. We will definitely be back.
This home is lovely! Master bedroom wing, guest room wing, and an open floor plan shared area with stunning mountain and lake views. Nice kitchen- I baked a chicken dinner easily for my guests. Bracken Mountain Bakery in Brevard is stellar for coffee and pastries. Vescovo provided one of the best food and cocktails I have ever had! 15 minute drive to downtown. Believe the warning on the driveway! It is steep and narrow.

Family time
We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was quiet and comfortable. It was easy to get around even for our father who is advanced in age. The home was stocked well to afford us the ability to cook all our meals, and all of the furniture was comfortable for sleeping and relaxing (exception dining chairs). We picked the best of all days to stay, the colors were gorgeous. One hiccup, the kitchen trash was full of the prior parties food trash, but we worked it out with the housekeeper to remove the trash at the end of our stay. The housekeeper was easy to contact.Looking forward to another stay in the future.
My family and I really enjoyed the rental home. It was clean and well-maintained. A fat racoon appeared a midnight on day 4 on the deck and pilfered some of the trash. He was harmless and waddled off when we tapped on the door. The view was great. The steepness of the roads and driveway take some getting used to, but nothing dangerous. There are miles of quiet, secluded trails jin the Amakola trail system ust down the street in the community, and the trail along Carson Creek near Connestee Falls is one of the best I've ever taken. That trailhead is only a 2-minute drive from the house. We plan to come back some day.

Mattresses too soft
The house is beautiful. Wonderful views despite windows in need of cleaning inside and outside, including buggy and dusty window sills. Dining chairs very uncomfortable. MUST have all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle even in good weather to egress driveway. Window treatments insufficient for bright sun in great room and no room darkening in bedrooms for nighttime. Some windows had no privacy and others can look inside master bath and bedroom from front porch. I wanted to like this house but there were too many issues for me to rebook this property or recommend to interested friends and family. This COULD be a great rental with some adjustments.

Owner's response: "Larry & Felisse, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We were pleased to hear that you found the house beautiful and enjoyed the spectacular views. We are available for all our guests and very much regret we did not hear from you during your stay so that we had the opportunity to assist you. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify some things to assist future guests. - Cleanliness is very important to us. In the future, please contact us immediately so we can remedy the situation. Because cleanliness is important, a thorough deep clean occurred just prior to your arrival which included vacuuming interior window sills, spraying for bugs, and removing interior and exterior cobwebs. This house is in the forest and no matter how often we clean away the exterior cobwebs they will be back in a matter of days! We will certainly get those windows cleaned once the spiders leave. - We take the privacy of our guests very seriously and know that your privacy is not an issue. A gated community, and private, secluded setting allows a few windows to be natural so the light and outdoors can be brought indoors. The blocks of windows in the bedrooms have ample coverage as the pictures show. - The cloudy large window in the great room and lower windows are scheduled to be replaced next month. With 2 kinds of blinds on each of the large great room windows light is sufficiently managed. Unfortunately, one was broken during your stay but is scheduled for repair. - Because a good night's sleep is important this home offers top-of-the-line pillowtop mattresses which provide just the right balance between plush and firmWe want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."
This home has the most beautiful view!!! Especially when we were there at the peak of the leaves changing! The home is lovely and comfortable on the inside too. The only issue that was not a 5 star was the cleanliness. Dusting off some cobwebs, vacuuming in the den area, wiping food off the dinner table, and getting towels/wash rags out of the drier (didn’t find them until day 2) are the things they can do much better on. Once the cleanliness is perfected this is absolutely the perfect place to stay!
