Lovely location. The kitchen was well equipped although some of the furniture a bit past its best. We were there in early October and there was no heating in bedroom or bathroom, which were very cold at night, although it was still warm by day. Bill was very welcoming and helpful.
Cozy, clean cottage. Very pleasant hosts. Great location on the bay and 2 minutes from the dunes and ocean beach. The hosts respected our privacy at all times.
We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this charming little house. Bill was very helpful with anything that we needed. Lovely front porch with a bbq and nice view. Would go back again.
Very clean. Great lighting in living area and bathroom. Kitchen had all items we needed for cooking meals. the bed was very comfortable. We were very appreciative that our host thought to fill the ice cube trays for us. Thank you! No issues at all with the Wi-Fi, Roku streaming stick or the heat pump. The deck facing the water for a scenic relaxing time. The deck gets the morning sun and later is shaded by trees. We moved our chairs by the small fire pit in the afternoon to enjoy the sun. Great long walking trial in front of cottage. Very close drive to beautiful Brackley Beach. Lovely area to drive around and close enough to Charlottetown to have dinner or an activity and not a long drive back.
The location was handy and a nice, clean house. The bedrooms upstairs were nice but with the only bathroom downstairs there was a bit of a nighttime challenge. All in all it served us nicely!
Cottage was nice and clean and had all the amenities that we needed. We loved the big shade trees in front of the cottage as it kept our vehicle cool. Disney plus on the Roku tv was a bonus!
We did hear animal movement underneath the bathtub but wasn’t really bothersome to us.

Bayside Cottages
The cottage was very nice except for the toilet draining system, which gurgled air when the pump kicked in, and it did not flush the last evening. Bike trails and access to the gulf is excellent. Would say again.
This place had an immediate view on the bay and had all of the necessary equipment: just go right behind the house and you find 2 separate clothes washing machines and 2 separate driers. Squeaky clean everywhere. Situated at about a 20 to 30mn drive from Charlottetown, depending traffic. Easy instructions all along and incredibly devoted and helpful hosts. Ideal for a couple, but also good for a family of up to four. Very nice beaches are very closeby. A definite recommendation.
Wonderful cottage, close to everything. Nice to have access to a grill. Only mild concern was front screen door had a gap that let in a few mosquitos. As noted in previous reviews, the toilet does gurgle a bit and my wife heard the critters, but not a big issue. Thought that not having park passes would be an issue, but it wasn’t. Overall, wonderful cottage, very clean and the view from the front porch was amazing. Definitely would rent again. I researched the area and places to stay very thoroughly and this place is a gem.
Overall we were satisfied with our stay at the cottage. There were a few issues that other guests should be aware of.
1) there is no air-conditioning
2) this cottage has wildlife living underneath the cottage (beneath the bathtub) which scratches and moves around during the night.
3) the toilet makes odd gurgling noises when it is flushed, but it works okay so wasn't really an issue.

Raccoons or else
Unfortunately we had to leave after 1 night since there were animal living underneath the cottage bedroom. They were scratching the walls and making noise all night.
We did not leave because of the weather since we staid on PEI for 4 more days.
We would like a full refund for the other 4 nights. Because you cannot get rid of animals like that in one day, we know we live in the countryside.
This cottage was the perfect place for us to return to following long days of exploring PEI. Clean, comfortable and quiet, ideal for a relaxing evening. Located very close to a provincial park on the ocean is a bonus, the sunsets there were stunning. Centrally located within the Provence made travelling to destinations easy.
The photos on the site VRBO were not accurate with the reality. The neigbors are so close, when there are many people, we can almost see what they eat on the terrasse and hear what they say. We dont’feel privacy.I can imagine in the summer with 7-8 guests in this big house.Mr. Bill is just perfect. Thank you Bill.
The property was very clean and well kept up. The location was excellent. It was right across the street from the bay. Lots of birds on the bay, including cranes and even a bald eagle! The paved walking/bike trail was also right across the street. Only an easy mile walk from the Stanhope light house and even less to the beach. Nice quiet neighborhood which is mostly rental cottages. The apartment was actually a little larger than we expected. We highly recommend this unit.
Very easy check in/out. Bill was excellent and quick to answer any questions I had. 10/10 would go back.

Do not recommend
Cottage is not private. There is another cottage 6ft beside you. The water is across the road with no access to put in the kayak. Could not find cottage as there was no number on it. Had to search for the owner. Do not recommend this property at all.
This location was awesome, From the friendly Owner to the Amazing view you wake up to every morning Local beaches ,Great starting point for you daily Excursions ,we would definitely Recommend this location And would certainly return again and again
