Fell short of expectations
The lack of an employees on the grounds to accommodate needs was dumbfounding. The owner also complained about providing a rollaway bed even though it was listed on the advertisement.
Never again same towels whole time and stay there no breakfast at all definitely not a breakfast bed-and-breakfast and definitely never staying there again with a squeaky ass bed every time you turn over it sounds like the house is coming down bad advertisement.
It suited my needs. Floor was not clean. Bathroom needs a vent. Sheets need to be replaced with something that stays on the bed. Elastic is shot on bottom sheet.
0ur room was very clean and nice, just right for our 3-night stay. The door lock was sticky and took a minute to figure out, but no worries after that. Sal was very responsive when we asked for more coffee.
It's a nice thought to provide breakfast when most do not, but cheap pastries and 2 kinds of cereal don't get it for me, I'd rather there was nothing. That's a small thing though, everything else was just fine.
One note to future guests: It's not nice to the other guests when you clomp around in hard shoes early in the morning, especially on the second floor.
I enjoyed my stay at the Mammoth Inn. I appreciated that management is doing no-contact check-in to help stop community spread of COVID-19. My room was clean and spacious, and the continental breakfast was yummy!

Bring your own bedding
No clean bedding was on bed. Comforter had fresh stains of some sort on it, Only one sheet which was dirty, a mattress pad that was in shreds. Bedding wasn’t replaced except for duvet. We went and purchased our own sheets. Both blinds were broken on windows. The last nite we stayed we had to kill a flying cockroach. There was a water leak beneath our room. Very noisy night. Baby crying all night. People running thru hallway. Lack of good parking.
