Westglow’s Mansion is available for discerning families and friends seeking their very own Gosford Park – a personal mountain retreat to gather and celebrate the best that life offers. Westglow possesses unobstructed views of Grandfather Mountain to the west and forever Johns River Gorge views to the south. Imagine beginning your day with coffee in the Sunroom while watching the morning sun peek above the tree-framed views looking east and ending your day on the West Portico with an evening cocktail toasting the most spectacular sunsets to be found in the High Country.
With 6 guest bedrooms, 6 full baths (each with original claw foot tub/showers, one with a walk-in shower) and 3 half baths, the Mansion can easily accommodate up to 12 people. The main level consists of a formal living room, formal dining room, elegant sun porch, cozy Library and bar, and grand west portico - perfect spaces to gather after spending the day at the adjacent Westglow Resort & Spa Life Enrichment Center, just steps away. With easy access to all the High Country has to offer, from the extensive hiking trails, to shopping in downtown Blowing Rock, to the variety of nearby restaurants, you are in the heart of Blowing Rock’s best. Included in your lodging is a complimentary Continental Breakfast prepared by Westglow Spa’s chef, served every morning during your stay. All bedrooms and ensuite baths are located on the second floor along with a kitchenette containing a refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker. There is a small cafe table and seating for 4 with french doors opening onto a breathtaking view of Grandfather Mountain. Please note there are no cooking facilities within the Manor House and with the exception of breakfast, all meals must be taken off property. However, our private chef is available to prepare evening meals upon request, please contact us for pricing.
Subject to a minimum three-night stay between June and October, two-night minimum from November through May. The Mansion must be rented in its entirety.
